Although those Mornington courses had more length and bite I think. I remember the South course being a beast in those VH winds we played in MD.

I'd like to state for the record that I have enjoyed all the Platinum courses thus far, despite missing two cuts.
I'd also like to say that I'm hopeful that my Rookie Design Challenge course will be approved for use and maybe will make it to the Platinum tour at some point. (Third and possibly final beta of the non-tourney version is published as StayClassy WIP Beta3 - please feel free to DM me any feedback.... Shameless plug I know)

Ah, so now we're recommending sandbelt courses? You know, those linksy courses with tons of width, angles, uneven lies? Not unlike the dunes courses that you bemoaned in previous posts?
FYI, your scheduler loves them. I'd be amazed if you get through the season without at least one. Maybe, maybe just trust him.

You seem very eager to misunderstand and take offense to every little thing I say. You remind me of my ex where I have to say “Let’s be civil and mature.”

So let’s just be professional and keep this thread for course selection discussions.

If we're being professional, why not let the scheduler do their job? You have a new volunteer and you're determined to question their decisions from week two, without looking at the rest of the courses on the radar (you hadn't played St Enodoc) and without any real understanding of exactly what they or even you yourself want (you do/don't want dunes courses).
This thread should not exist. Let alone within two weeks. It doesn't on any other tour and it's no surprise that every other tour has had a steady scheduler for the past couple of seasons.

I will give my thoughts on St. Edonoc. I said I liked the different fact that it is super short. Don’t assume I will only have negative comments on all the courses. I’m extremely open minded and eager to rave about courses. Why not give me some time? This thread is only it’s first week. And there are plenty of threads in here I think shouldn’t exist but I don’t want them “cancelled” so to speak.

Happy to accept your open-mindedness and I have seen you praise lots of courses - I know it's not all negative. But the point you make in bold is exactly the one I'm trying to make about scheduling - just replace the underlined words. I'm not here to be hostile, but we've seen time and again that PGA schedulers get ruined because they are trying to appease such a wide range of players, many of whom need to be more sympathetic to the impossible nature of the role. I said the same when Dale was doing it - PGA have had good schedulers, they just destroy them.

For the sake of where this is going now, let's lock this thread, and then delete it. For future course suggestions, build a thread within the Platinum Tour section to that end, which would have course suggestions that the scheduler might want to consider. But for now, 2 weeks in, and knowing that this scheduler is likely to do a great job this season, I see no reason to denigrate the start of the season with additional conversation on this matter.
Thanks!
