So, we've got "No one complaining about PGA courses is bad" and "Nelson Dunes is the Micheal Jordan of golf courses" so far. Are there any other glorious takes OP would like to share with us? Name the course that best represents your work. In other words, what is your favorite course you designed.

gamesdecent if they get too out of line, may I suggest a month of Evangelist, Susquahannock, Cypress Dunes & Black Salt Valley, 187, VF, VH winds. Forget MJ, that's the whole damn Dream Team right there!

I just discovered Commonwealth Golf Club by Violinguy. That is a course where you have to work the ball and place shots and actually think your way through. I would love to see the Platinum bombers take on a course of this style.

Why Aristida Dunes and Salt Creek? Is the Platinum scheduler so paranoid of being criticized by the usual grumblers that they now look to pick the most bland and boring and least offensive courses out there? No offense, well I guess that is pretty offensive to those designers but Aristida was created last year and even Pastimes was released I think many months ago in the last game. I just played Salt Creek Tour on Pure Aces and I don’t remember a single hole. Again. We have all these bold, unique and awesome designs being pumped out that I can’t believe none of them can fit the theme for Platinum week in and week out. I go through the completed course thread with a fine tooth comb and also do my own research on courses to schedule in MD. So I am familiar with all that is out there. This OP lost all credibility to me when calling Aristida Dunes and Pastimes as "bland." Decided to read on to see what the masses said after that. Haha

I would love to see the Platinum bombers take on a course of this style. It was on CC and KF last season. The reviewers, schedulers and rangers all did their jobs and made sure a deserving course got on to an appropriate tour. I don't know what you're trying to get out of this thread. You've suggested courses that weren't approved, put down some pretty highly regarded ones, then suggested a course that's already been on tour like no one has heard of it (after calling the scheduler out). It's under control. The tours aren't going to pander to a handful of people.

Wait a tick... Commonwealth was Chuck's Dream Team entry! I think your scheduler knows about it. 🤣🤣🤣

I’m just discussing courses on a golf game we all play together. And I didn’t call Pastimes bland. It’s just from the last game. I remember liking the colors and atmosphere there. It’s just seems a bit stale to go back months or a year even for courses to schedule on Platinum. And yes I mentioned a course from last game, no need to pounce on me, to highlight a type of design we never see on Platinum I don’t think.

Maybe I’ll use this thread to mention some courses I stumble upon that might be of use to a scheduler. Idk. Whatever happens happens. If you don’t like it don’t participate. And there is a handful of people here, nothing constituting a mass.

I think the core of this discussion is perfectly legitimate. Although probably too easy for Platinum, Elite grabbed one of the hot new courses last week.
Wish the discussions around here about course selection could be a lot more chill lol.

Well, yeah, but you're literally two courses in to a new scheduler and a new game. Don't think you should be even considering discussing Platinum course selection for quite some time yet.
You'll notice that the scheduling moaning is pretty much uniquely a PGA/Platinum things and you've been through a number of different schedulers. Only one common denominator there.

So visually engaging I can still picture some holes in my head. It’s not too easy for Platinum. All 4 rounds should be VF greens, terrain etc. and H and VH winds with consistent 187s. It would be a frustrating and fun challenge. Some people will go lower than others but so what. Every course doesn’t have to be super tough. But super fun.
