Played the last round, just finished at -2 to be -8 for the event. My tempo was a lot better this round but the score could have been better if I'd putted better, still having a bit of trouble judging speed. It's not the same as it was in terms of how far back the head goes correlating with different lengths, or at least it doesn't feel like it is. Either way, I was happy to play each round under par. Time to practise in my other societies for next week now.

Two weeks into the new season and I've missed the cut both weeks, the first week I missed out by 1 stroke and this week I was way off the pace. My first rounds seem to be killing my chances of making cuts as I've been +3 and +5 on them.

Keep at it mate, you'll get there.
My -8 total gets me a T40 finish by the looks of it. I'm happy with that at this point, not hitting it well enough to score any better really.

I’m only 50% Pat I’ve played next weeks course and being honest I’m not looking forward to it after my practice rounds but it might be different when I’m fully concentrating.

Well, unless I turn it around in a big way, likely to be first missed cut this week - started with a horrible +8 in Round 1..
Course doesn't seem to be all that hard, just couldn't putt and found water a couple of times.
Good Luck E'zers !!

Started with -1 in the first round that I started yesterday and finished today, got through 11 holes in the second round before I had to go back to work and am currently -2 there. Beautiful looking course and certainly plenty of scoring opportunities, I had the same issue putting in the first round, have done better in the second though. I don't like slower greens it seems. Didn't have too many tempo issues, was able to get on a nice little run of perfects and slight misses today. Hopefully I can keep that going when I finish off and grab a few more birdies.

Finished the second round at -5 to be -6 overall. Gone through 7 holes in the third round at -2 so far. Tempo was nice and consistent other than a couple of red misses either side. Pretty happy with where I'm at, 2 shots better than last week after 2 rounds. Admittedly the course is a bit easier with the wider fairways.

Two strikes coming this week for me I feel, absolutely pissed off with the master difficulty. Another couple of weeks like this and I’m afraid to say it but I’m out. I’ve tried the best I can but tempo is way to random for me. I can hear the beer calling already.

I started off alright with 2 birdies on the through 3 but dropped a couple back with bogies on the 5th and 9th. Got back below par on the 10th before a visit to the water on the 12th resulted with a triple bogey, I managed a birdie on the last to get down to +1 for round 1.
It's vital to hit the fairway on this course as a bad tee shot can lead to a scrambled par or 1 or 2 shots dropped. Nice looking course with a few pins that were hard to get close to but greens were forgiving enough to give you a chance if you don't hit close.

R1 -4 R2 -7
Really struggled on the front 9 in my first round but pulled it back on the back, some getable holes on the back 9. Similar for my second round but this time no silly mistakes on the front. Got my first promo mark last week, hoping for another 🤞. Good luck for the rest of your rounds E-zers! 👍🏻

Yeah, a few times I've missed the fairway and wound up behind a boulder in the bushes. Not exactly a great spot to advance closer to the green from 🤣

Enjoyed this course, couple thin fairways but had a couple short 4s made for easy birdies.... -19 after 4! Should be enough to finally get my first promotion mark

Finished off the final two rounds today, shooting -6 and -3 to finish at -15 for the tournament. Best so far over four rounds. I got a little more erratic with the tempo in the last round and threw away a few birdie opportunities as a result. Overall though not too disappointed as it's still an improvement, and second tournament shooting under par all 4 rounds.

-3 -3 first 2 rds for -6 way too many mistakes, highlighted by 3 putts on 6 both rds and a wide right into the water on 8 for a double managed to go -4 over the last 5 holes in both rds to save my scores though and make the cut (this is my first tourny, never got the old games and only did qualifying last week)
