Sitting at -6 after R2 (69, 69) which overall I am pleased with after a week away from the game, but with 13 birdies on the card there is still some improvement to be made. Avoiding the blowup holes, just missing putts right now.

Will likely miss the cut for the first time, going +4 after two rounds. Hole 9 really messed me up in the first round, shooting a 9 on that hole because of the water. I was trying to be conservative too.. lol oh well. I'll learn from it and be better next tournament, hopefully!

Finished the first 2 rounds -1 & -5 so should make the cut. Pretty happy with that.
Finding the course a tale of 2 halves - having to really grind out pars on the front 9 and trying not to get too frustrated. The back 9 has a few decent opportunities to score.
I've given up being disappointed at hitting the rough off the tee - fairways are tight so missing 50%. I'm just trying to hit the centre of the fairly generous greens.
Good luck to those still to play - hang in on that front 9!

Yeah, definitely more scoring opportunities on the back 9. Third round I eagled both par 5s.

hey all - new to E after a couple good weeks in CC-F
Had a super rusty first round after not playing much for a week - two doubles, including one in the water before I was able to get my bearings and scramble to finish even. Next round the putter started working again and was able to take advantage of the par 5s and go -9. Good luck to all over the last couple rounds!

That was a nervy second round but hopefully a score of -2 and -1 after 36 holes is enough to make my first cut of the season. My front 9 consisted of 2 birdies (4th and 7th) and 2 bogies (1st and 5th) to have me sitting at even at the turn. I managed to avoid any bogies on the back 9 and picked up a couple of birdies on the 12th and 17th. I'll just have to wait and see what happens when the rounds are finalized.

Finished up last night with a -9 for the tournament. Good news was I had no double bogeys or worse for the tournament. Bad news was I once again had a disappointing R4 at +1. Felt like there were plenty of scoring opportunities out there despite the trickier pins in R4, but I kept giving back the birdies I would make with bad shots. 2 for 2 in cuts made and no marks so all in all can't complain too much.

Finished up -19, hope the last hole doesn't come back to bite me and bump me out of the top 10. Thought it was a golden chance to gain another stroke or even an eagle then went in the bunker, laid up, then pitched into the near-rough. Got too cute trying to hole the chip and then missed the come-back for par. But pretty happy with it after a bad first round.

Looks like I'll finish 24th, best finish position so far this season. Hopefully I can continue the improvement into next week and maybe get a top 20 finish.

Pretty ordinary -2 in the first round. I don't know what was going on but I couldn't find any tempo consistency, had one go in the drink on 16 from a normal feeling swing that was somehow a red slow. Not a fan of the slower greens either although overall I like the course.
Another issue I had was the screen kept randomly flashing, and on one or two occasions actually put me off my shot. I don't know if it was just something to do with the course or whatever because it wasn't happening at all in another society event I was playing beforehand.
I should hopefully be able to play well enough to make the cut but if it keeps up like it did today I won't be threatening the leaders.

Waking up and seeing these scores, ugh...Hopefully not added pressure for me.

Waking up and seeing these scores, ugh...Hopefully not added pressure for me. I've only played 1 round, but it's very scoreable. I was able to post my lowest round of the season with no bogies. Conditions are favorable and I can't think of any notably difficult pins. Only hit one bunker and that was somewhat intentional on 18.

Waking up and seeing these scores, ugh...Hopefully not added pressure for me. Would try to just put it out of your head and be patient, because I think knowing going in the conditions were favorable got in my head a bit. I was +2 through the front 9 pressing a bit, hit one in the drink being overly aggressive and not putting well. I salvaged it to finish -6 for R1 and then thought I should keep going to maintain momentum but never put a great round together. Went all 4 rounds and finished -24 but would guess it will take being high 20s under to be top 10 and winning score definitely in the -30s
