Well, I'm back in L again, stinking things up here, after hitting the water about 4 times!

Dang Josia - sorry. Just keep swinging and consider if calibration might be worth it. It seems to have helped me, but I had 10 swings that landed in virtually the same spot (took me a few tries).

It’s a killer I know Josia and like Scott said maybe give calibration a try and I did it and suffered a bit straight after but now it’s become more natural to hit perfects. Also before a round go to the driving range and start with a pitching wedge and try to hit 3 out of 5 perfects and once you have go up a club and do the same again. Also I found playing in the Beer League society rounds just for practise as this can also help get the tempo right. My thinking is this - when you practice on master and you get a fast and try to the compensate too much and get a slow and it just goes from bad to worse and your not feeling the natural swing tempo. With less damage on these settings it just feels a little easier to perfect your swing and it could all be psychological but it helped me a bit. All the above sounds like I know what I’m doing but trust me I’m far from good 😄 but hope this can help.

Oh believe me, I've used the calibration a good bit. A couple weeks ago, when things got really bad, I switched out my clubs (and calibrated!) in an effort to make things better. Also been experimenting with turning off Epic Games launcher that runs in the background and chews up a ton of CPU usage. And I really, I mean REALLY slowed down my play. I was hitting fast part of the time, because I think I was not taking the time to setup and relax before each shot. I was just walking up and trying to Aaron Rodgers it for ol' Jake.
So I honestly think that I did hit a rough spot, then tried to change a bunch of things and hopefully will gradually get better.
Did R2 tonight, and hit the water on one hole only this time, for a triple. take that away and I was one under. I'm (I think) +16 on this match, but 12 of those shots were on the couple holes I hit the water on.

Sounds like R2 was really great - congrats (minus one hole)!

TGCT Challenge Circuit Soccer League
Add a bit of spice to your Challenge Circuit rounds each week. Play as your favourite soccer team and qualify for the equivalent of the Champions League or Europa Cup. Nothing much required beyond playing your normal rounds each week, reporting your scores and engaging in a bit of good-natured soccer/pixel golf related banter. Already major clubs such as Ajax and Celtic are in as well as minnows such as East Fife and Herne Bay FC.
Worried that you won't be competitive? A crack team of mathematicians recruited from the finest universities in China have developed a balance system so whether you are in CC-A trying for the pro tours or striving for the cut in CC-L you will have a chance.
If you have an allegiance to a club, a CC Tour card and a sense of humour and would be interested, message me.

Woohooo, I made a cut, finally! Was afraid to say anything until it was official. hahha feels good.
Near the bottom in the promo #2 round though, but its good practice, and this is probably the division I need to stay in anyway.

I thought it was quiet in here and was wondering how you was getting on and good luck going into the weekend. I’m 10th in J with a round in hand but so busy at work doing 16 hour days so will only be able to play next on Saturday and will have 8 rounds to play in total with the promotion event and societies 😬 I knew I’d bitten off too much and got carried away 😄

1st tournament completed, making up the numbers & living up to my user name Did manage -4 in my 3rd round but apart from that everything else was rubbish. Struggling mostly with swing tempo from the tees which is costing me badly with FIR's which is costing me making GIR's and chances at those birdies/eagles. GL

made the cut, even though I tried to give it away in the second round.
1st round felt great! 2nd, was very bad accuracy, which resulted in a lot of bogies. Still, playing better than I have in a while. Actually doing two strokes better on the kinetic course, hahah!

After seeing I made the cut at my 1st attempt, I'm kicking myself harder at my last round meltdown.
Already looking forward to the next tournament, really liking the next course on offer.

wow very surprised. had that bad accuracy all through the 2nd that cost me some strokes, then I counted 6 shots in the first half of round 4 that were easy and I should have easily made.
I thought overall I would do horrible, and yet am sitting at 26th.
