I spent quite a bit of time on this, and tore down several different iterations of each wing before settling on this.
How do I feel about it? Maybe like 80-85% good. I couldn't find good window options for some areas, and really had to do a lot of stonewall work. I think after putting a bunch of planting around it things will look better and less disjointed. I don't know, maybe someone could do better, but this is about as good as I'm capable of.
That looks amazing, with a bit of planting around it will look great.

I think it looks good. If you really hate yourself you could advance edit some blue stakes to make the stripes on the awning. Not sure how far away you'd be able to see them from though.

I was really hoping I could use blue and white canvas walls, but they can't be x or y rotated at all. Which, I don't understand why every item in the catalog can't be rotated 360 degrees in any direction. It would really allow for a ton of freedom and creativity. Sure, you might get a course with nothing but sideways trees, but is that worse than a course with 5000 goats and squirrels everywhere? (Bad example, because clearly the answer is yes.)

What do you have against 5,000 goats? LOL
That clubhouse looks amazing man, this is going to be great. You are the RCR King, hands down!

Great job on the clubhouse, I feel in this game if you can get anywhere near with the clubhouses it’s an amazing feat as our hands are so tied by the designer at times.
I’ve got a devils own job ahead with Brookline, that place is a complex and a half with all kinds of weird and wonderful buildings! It’s the part I’m not looking forward to very much

Yeah, that's what the parentheses were for. I realized as soon as I typed it that a course with all sideways trees was 1000x worse than a course with 5,000 goats and squirrels. Those poor goats should never have even been dragged into the conversation, and I regret my error.

I guess I'm overdue for an update.
All 18 holes on the West are sculpted and finished, minus a few tweaks to greens and pin locations throughout the testing process. Planting is underway around the clubhouse and 1st hole. Still no idea how long planting will take, as I'm trying to balance a wide array of unique and accurate items without running into memory issues immediately.

Rick Pitino's house is done. Oh, and the 3rd hole in front of it too. I guess that's important.
All of this 4th hole stuff, too. Kind of hitting the wall here, but grinding through it the best I can.

Looking great, is this going to have 4 seperate tees of different lengths so all the same colour is nearest or furthest or tournament style where on one hole the red tee for instance will be the back tee but then be moved up and the closest set on the driveable par 4 and so on?

Is that a thing that can be done? I haven't checked on 2k21 yet, but in TGC19 I believe if you moved a tee forward ahead of a different color tee, they just flipped colors automatically.
Anyways I'm not so sure it matters here. The only real driveable 4 on the course is the 6th hole, and it's reachable from the back tee in anything but a headwind. Of the two par 5's, 9 and 12, 9 is almost always reachable, and 12 is pretty much never reachable, so again tees won't matter much there. The only real difference it would make is the par 3's. The 10th and 13th holes are very similar thanks to the new US Open tee at 10, so that would be the only hole I would really think about changing, off the top of my head. At this point it's not a priority, though.

Yeah you can with finagling of the waypoint around the tee boxes which Q figured out, he changed 2 pins but I’ve managed to move them all around. This is what I’ve done on the first 7 of the front 9 on one of my courses I’m porting over. It’s real easy to do, just make sure you have a waypoint on par 3s otherwise it will move all your flags with it. I remember Chambers Bay in the US Open moving tees around on par 3s and such. Give me a shout if you need a video and I can try to put one together thats more in depth than the one I put in Q’s thread as that only showed the reverse pin order on one hole.
