Here are my updated stats after R4. This includes all those that have finished 4 rounds; revises the positions to remove for those that have not completed their rounds; and properly allocates duplicate names. Even after removing the Top 150 (that are mostly freakishly good PS4 players), the XB1 scores are quite a bit lower than the other averages. Excellent data! I had preliminary data before the event ended that showed even Platinum was semi-normal if you took out the top 50 players. Yes, once again, XB1 is at a definite handicap, unfortunately.
The % spreads by console start to look even versus the total amount played once you get out of the Pro tours (1 to 450).
It's still skewed and needs addressed by HB if they would ever acknowledge it, but I think it isn't as bad as TGC2019, for whatever that's worth to those struggling.
Yes it seems we poor sods on Xbox have drawn the short straw again but there is light at the end of the tunnel, the fast. This helps to iron out the tempo for us, and for everyone of course, but it at least gives us a reason to practice and play this game. 2019, for me anyway, was a pointless exercise with Master clubs, this game isn't. Now all we need is for HB to issue a patch to stop the fast 'exploit' and it's goodbye to this game for me.

Watched CrazyCanuck live stream his rounds, including a blow up hole on 12 in round 3. He shot a 10 there. Needless to say I was scared. I shot +2, +1, -6, +1 for a final -2. I definitely played better here than at Whiskey Dunes. Even though Whiskey Dunes had a final of -5 for me. So I expect -2 at this tournament will make my 800th place after Q1 go up a little bit. Just a hunch though.
There’s so much trouble out on the course but somehow I managed not to hit it. That being said I only hit 55% of greens pretty regularly. It really is staggering how often I’m scrambling. Edit: Xbox player, btw

-44 for me and -87 total.
First 2.5 rounds were awesome. Hit my driver as far as it’d go and made every putt I looked at. Was -11 thru 13 and started to gain some separation on the early leaders before doubling 14 when I hit the cart path and found a random O.B. sitting on the path near a grandstand. Played the last few with just 1 birdie to whimper home. Then I missed a bunch of birdie looks in the 4th round but had a couple chip ins to salvage an -8.
Good number overall that I would’ve been ecstatic with prior but the lapses in the last 25 holes are what seem to always cost me.

Played the first three rounds. Round 1, was on fire. Shot 60 with one bogey - best score at Evangelist thus far. Round 2 started off brutally and I found myself +5 through 5 holes. Battled back for a 69. Round 3 was pretty smooth, finishing with a 63. Definitely left some shots out there with putts that burned the edges. Sitting at -18 for the week with round 4 to play. I was T-175 coming into the week, might be playing well enough to move into the top 150 for Platinum, but barring a total collapse in R4, should be good for Elite.

Done my all my rounds quickfire this morning.Rollercoaster stuff started -8 but then went +5 -5 +2 for -6 in this tourney and -22 overall. I've always been around CC-A or B so i guess i'll end up there again. Some horror holes on this course. Was plodding along nicely when i hit a slow and went ob from nowhere for a double then hit a quad bogey next hole. Also had some putting jitters when i squirmed a two foot putt past around ten feet and missed the return on the first hole final round Gave away a good handful of double bogeys all over but had an ace last round also. Could have been around ten shots better but i think most people will have a disaster or three on this. Good luck to everyone still to play.

Love the different tee sets. All Platinum events should utilize this with the designer. Lipped out about 20 putts. About 3 awkward difficult very frustrating questionable decisions to be made with water boards and OB over the course of a round. Very engaging.

I could turn this into a long story but the simple fact is I played too aggressive; 4 triple bogeys, 5 visits to the water, frustration took over... and so on.
After -32 at Whiskey that’s -12 at Evangelist for me... oops!!!
It’ll be interesting to see where -44 for Q school will land me; Kinetic?
Anyway, it’s okay - it’s my own fault and I guess I’ll just have to climb up the ladder the hard way. 😊
Good luck all; don’t do what I did!!! 😉

Cruised though the first two rounds at -14. Meh for most of R3 - and then that last par 5 got me yet again - had to get it up and down for double after LOTS of tree trouble! Then opened R4 bogey-bogey. Steadied it up for -18, and -55 total - good enough (possibly unfortunately) for the bottom end of Platinum.

-38 after Q1-4 and no money to play for left me playing ultra conservative. Reckoned -50 would get into P tour. Irons of the tee. Missing tempo on the right sides Ie: no trouble. Also didn’t worry in the slightest whether I landed in fairway/rough or sand - as long as the angles were good.
Ended up -25 for Q 5-8 giving a total of -63 for mid-pack P tour mediocrity from this medium player. Job done.....
Play well y’all,
DP.

I played the first round of the second event earlier for +3, taking me up to even par after five rounds. Started with a bogey and a double, then got an eagle and a birdie and pars across the remaining 7 holes to be even after 9, then another bogey and double on the back 9 and couldn't get any lower. I couldn't get the feel of the slower greens, left a lot of putts short.
On the plus side I avoided any water and that idiot out of bounds on the 14th. I'll get through the remaining three rounds through the week.

E, -1 for first two rounds. Disappointed as I played a practice round on legend difficulty yesterday and played far better, certainly on the front 9. Developed a really irritating slice that left me scrambling far too often. Hopefully I can bump that total close to -10 after 4 rounds, breakfast calls though - should've done that first!

Here in Xbox land, I hit E +5 +1 E for a +6 total.
Along with my -14 last week, leaves me on -8 for Q School. No idea where I'll end up, but this week will really shake things up, especially for those on Xbox.

I think the best tips this week are to be aware of where all the danger is, be very careful with any drops after hitting water, and no matter what keep your head in the game! There are going to be people not on this forum who are in for a few nasty surprises. There's going to be rage quits, there's going to be red mist and people playing @!$# it golf, there's going to be a lot of people going backwards. Keep your head, post a score, even if it's not what you were hoping for you may well be pleasantly surprised where it gets you. Especially with the likelihood of more tour spots being made available..
I'm going in at -9, about 17 shots clear of THE cutline once it gets finalised. I am not going to be a hero! Shot a +1 in a quick practise round from the gold tees yesterday, I wouldn't be upset with that. Knocking off work a little early tonight, plan on playing the first two then. Best of luck everyone!

So apart from the wind which is clear to see, for each individual round do we just have to play and feel what the fairways and greens are because if you pause and look at course details it gives you the default. The weather forcast gives an indication but doesn’t specify round so are we just trying to guess/work out what we have when playing from the pre round info we get??

Use your right bumper before you tee off and it will show you the settings for that round. If you forget you can quit and go back in to see it (which you couldn't do on the last game, at least they fixed something!).
