Ok thanks... I had a nightmare start... +6 through 4 holes. Went in the water at 2 and drove the ball into the water twice off the tee at 4 because I’m really cool like that.
Gotta take a back 9 @-3 to finish +3 for the round though. Hopefully my worst round of the week But annoying because conditions were very nice first round.

Love the different tee sets. All Platinum events should utilize this with the designer. Lipped out about 20 putts. About 3 awkward difficult very frustrating questionable decisions to be made with water boards and OB over the course of a round. Very engaging. Agree with all of this. The drivable par 4 and the last par 5 just aren't worth going after at all. I actually love the boards with the runoff to make it an actual runoff, but the true issue is both greens running so hard to the runoff to where any 3 wood or driver landing anywhere near the green will always find its way to the water boards. A flat green on the edge would make them both awesome risk/reward holes with the potential to make eagle or be in the water if you miss your spot by even 5 yards. I found the O.B. for the first time in the event and was on the cart path just right of the light rough. Was very confused with why it was O.B. but oh well, it was a bad shot.

A little worried as I woke up this morning and noticed my score isnt posted for round 1. Had a great round and shot a bogey-free 64, so hopefully it will pop up soon. I played last night though..

Awful first round from me ... Was 1 under thru 9 then thinking I was slacking behind where I needed to be got too aggressive culminating in getting stuck in the left hand trees on the 16th hole quad bogey the outcome .... So I'm +6 after the first round. Off to work now so will either play some more tonight or tomorrow

-3 second round for EVS through 2 (and +8 through 6). Done for today but really hoping to finish strong and get myself a card.

Terrible front nine again on the 3rd round on the way to a 72. Finally started making some putts in the 4th round for a 66 and a -3 four round total, the only blemish was the beast of a par 3 8th. Ended up in that little valley and doubled it which was a bit of a momentum killer but glad to actually play well that round and I'll see where -25 leaves me. Just beware the 8th on the 4th round for all you folks still to play.

Are the scores adding up properly on the leaderboard. I went from +15 to +17 after shooting 70 in round 1

Just looking at the Q2 leaderboard scores I was surprised at how low people (even those further down, like 300) are going in round five. I thought Evangelist was tougher than Whiskey, both by word-of-mouth and when I have played it.

R1 - Started badly with 2 bogeys but slowly got it together and tempo largely behaved itself and I ended up -2. I was happy with that
R2 - I should not have played this straight after R1! I started even worse this time with a DB then B. The XB1 tempo gremlins were having fun this round and I certainly found lots of water to keep them happy. I largely held it together until the 14th ... then the wheels fell off.
I got caught out by the stupid OoB stand next to the 14th green. A Slow made my approach land just on the edge of the green but it was bounced into the hedge in front of the stand and OoB. This is going to cause a lot of rage! I'm not a fan of crowds at the best of times but that is one of the daftest design decisions I've seen in a long time. Don't put the stand there instead of trying to compensate for the game's broken drop mechanics. I ended up with a triple.
The XB1 tempo was going anywhere from Very Fast to Very Slow by this time so two more doubles followed on 15 and 16. I ended +10 for the round - one of my worst ever.
+8 after 2 here and +12 after 6. It will be a couple of days before I try finishing this thing off.

So apart from the wind which is clear to see, for each individual round do we just have to play and feel what the fairways and greens are because if you pause and look at course details it gives you the default. The weather forcast gives an indication but doesn’t specify round so are we just trying to guess/work out what we have when playing from the pre round info we get?? Use your right bumper before you tee off and it will show you the settings for that round. If you forget you can quit and go back in to see it (which you couldn't do on the last game, at least they fixed something!). Jamie because you're an old friend and one of the originals I'll give you the good oil I finished at even par for the 4 rounds - just wanted to get q-school over! Rounds 1, 2 and 3 won't trouble you overmuch but beware round 4! High winds from black tees are an unpleasant combination on this course. Make sure you focus your practice on these conditions.

-2 R1 for me. A tidy start was derailed with a drink off the tee and subsequent DB. Perhaps could of been a stroke or 2 better.
I shot -16 at Whiskey. Would be quite happy to finish around the 27-30 under mark from here.
