Just in case it was forgotten or some didn’t realize it:
The NFL has added two wild-card spots.
There will now be three wild-card teams in the NFC, and another three in the AFC, for a total of seven playoff teams per conference.
The resulting six wild-card games will be played in back-to-back tripleheaders during wild-card weekend, this year on Jan. 9 and 10. One of the new games, a 4:40 ET kickoff on Jan. 10.

The warning bells that had been flashing on Tampa Bay’s dashboard of late turned an engine billowing smoke as all four tires flattened.
The Buccaneers were winning, but the rattles were real. Tom Brady all but signaled it when he not only pressed for the signing of troubled wideout Antonio Brown, but he let him move into his house. TB12 knew they needed help. The call was coming from the inside.
On Sunday, it became apparent to everyone.
New Orleans 38, Tampa 3, the worst beatdown of Brady’s two decade-plus NFL career. It may have been even uglier than that. Only a late fourth-quarter field goal saved the Bucs from the embarrassment of a shutout. It was something out of the New York Jets’ playbook ... or Tampa’s during its many lost seasons.
It certainly wasn’t something you see from Super Bowl champions, which is all that Brady is playing for at age 43.
Tampa couldn’t block New Orleans (three sacks allowed, one intentional grounding). It couldn’t tackle New Orleans (420 total yards). It couldn’t run against New Orleans (8 net rushing yards). It couldn’t pass against New Orleans (209 total yards in the air, despite more than a half of desperation).
“It was a collapse,” linebacker Shaq Barrett said. “A total team collapse.”

A long standing saying in sports gambling - a team is never as good or as bad as it looked in its last game.
The Bucs will be playoff bound. And once AB gets back into game shape they will be formidable. May not go to SB but they will be formidable.

10-0 LETS FU-CKING GO BABY. Defense is playing out of their minds the last four games. The team collectively has outscored opponents 115-56 the last four games and in those four games have forced 12 turnovers and only committed 2 on the offense. Not to mention Big Ben is playing out of his mind and the very young receivers continue to develop confidence and belief.

Feel bad for Joe Burrow.
Also hope Doug Pederson is fired and he takes Carson Wentz and Howie Roseman with him.

Steelers are playing like the Bradshaw era teams “Bradshaw is so dumb he couldn’t spell cat if you spotted him the C and the A”. - Hollywood Henderson. But Lynn Swann and John Stallworth could.

I honestly cannot stand Bradshaw, even today on NFL Fox he is horrible while the other guys are great. Plus Bradshaw was woefully overrated. Had a plethora of weapons around him and his defenses were stout. Stallworth and Franco Harris and the steel curtain were the main reasons why I became a Steelers fan and thank goodness the defense is playing smash mouth AFC North defense again. The defense is doing all of this without the second year stud linebacker Devin Bush who I believe went on season ending IR in week 3. When he returns next season LOOK OUT.

Feel bad for Joe Burrow. Also hope Doug Pederson is fired and he takes Carson Wentz and Howie Roseman with him. Yeah Burrow is a great kid and really started to ball the last 3-4 games. He was getting comfortable being an NFL signal caller. Hopefully he comes back stronger than ever. I agree with you that CW and Roseman should say adios, but hard disagree with Pederson. I think Pederson should be retained. Prior to this season, he had three consecutive winning seasons and playoff appearances in each of those with a 4-2 playoff record. He's also been injury riddled last season and this season. Hell I think almost half of the offense in that playoff game against Seattle last year was from the practice squad or reserves at one point or another that same season. I mean Josh McClown, Boston Scott, Greg Ward, Miles Sanders, backup TE Dallas Goedert, that's coaching right there man. I am very familiar with McCown aka McClown being an avid watcher of the Cardinals over the years. The dude is awful, honestly should not have had a job last season, but hell Pederson still dug deep last season and won their last four games of the season, all of which were against division rivals.

The dude is awful, honestly should not have had a job last season, but hell Pederson still dug deep last season and won their last four games of the season, all of which were against division rivals. Pederson is lost in his own mind right now. There's no way out due to ego. Past performances are just that, in the past. This is sports and all that matters is now when you are not considered a rebuilding team - and the Eagles are not one supposed to be rebuilding. This year is proving that the run last year with 4 division wins were against weak ass opponents. We weren't all that. And that showed in the playoffs. I gave Doug some space because of the injuries but it's Week 12 now, time to field a squad that's prepared to play. Every team deals with injuries. This team looks so ill-prepared each week that a Pop Warner squad could out-scheme them. That's on the coaches. The OLine plays like they've just got off the practice squad ..... for a volleyball team. Jason Peters needs to retire before he injures himself or gets his QB killed. Add an offense that is so vanilla and predictable that every time Jalen Hurts lines up in the pistol my dog barks out "Read Option keeper... on woof". Where's the ingenuity? Hurts could be a nightmare if they let him play a bit. Let him throw it. Hell, he can catch better than half the WRs on the team too. Innovative plays using Reagor's speed? No where to be found. I'd argue Goedert isn't really a "backup" TE. He'd start on most other teams. Richard Rogers is also a really good TE that we have. This isn't all practice squad guys on the field. Miles Sanders, Corey Clement and Boston Scott are legit HBs. Now we've also signed Jordan Howard back (and put him on the practice squad). Alshon Jeffrey is back but still invisible but that might be Wentz's fault. Wentz has a hard time reading defenses pre-snap and post-snap. This is why he has such happy feet after the snap and is getting his ass handed to him. If he could read the pre-snap he could direct the blocking to Kelce who can call the OLine scheme. But Wentz can't read it. Then post-snap happens and he's lost. The only highlight is the D Line. The rest of the defense is garbage. Why the hell do we not have any linebackers? Every week it's like, what cab company did they snag this guy from? All of this crap leads directly to the HC. That's where the buck stops. If Wentz is sucking, why is he still playing? Because he is Pederson's pet. Enough is enough. Eagle fans will not tolerate this BS and the same old lame excuse week after week of "we got to do better". SMH.

From #Tank4Trevor to the playoffs?? What is this Vikings season?? No telling what team will show up each week, or each play... now watch them take it to the Bucs next week before losing to Bears at home the following week... it’s the Viking Way

One of the most impressive streaks in NFL history was snapped Thursday night at SoFi Stadium.
The New England Patriots suffered their seventh loss of the season in a 24-3 defeat to the Los Angeles Rams. With just three games remaining in the 2020 regular season, the Patriots can no longer win 10 or more games, which means their record streak of 17 consecutive years with double-digit wins has come to an end.
