The TBA society was an extra society we were creating in the event we need it because we thought we had to submit the list of societies we need to HB and weren't going to be able to create more later. Turns out, we can create them later so now it's just there to foster conspiracy theories. Mission accomplished 🤣

I wish there was a no tempo league or the closest thing possible available. There are various no tempo societies in the game that users have created. I don't know which platform you are on..but I know there a few on PC. It's all about finding what makes the game enjoyable for you(the user)

That's become my plan. Started the game with TGCT settings for a couple of days and was having no fun and forcing myself to play, which is not something I want to do for any game I play. Dropped to ProAm clubs for the ProAm Tour and they were fine so I stuck with them for a couple weeks. Then the ProAm Tour got switched to Pro clubs and I just didn't want to switch again, so I've given up any efforts to play anywhere on Tour this season. Instead I've switched all the settings to whatever I want that gives me the most enjoyment out of playing and I'm going to focus only on rangering courses this season. I'll miss the weekly events to an extent but I'm already having more fun playing the game than I have in a long time.

Doyley - Looks like the 'Test Events' are being pulled to the leaderboards, however, those on CC looks like it's pulling 'Beginner' cards?? I finished S6 on CC-E, my name shows up at the top of the board in the 'my scores' section, but nothing pulled. Since all main tours are on same difficulty, can the leaderboards all look like the Pro boards, which shows the WGR column. Just a thought to get everything looking consistent..

This game does gamertags differently than 2019 - specifically when it comes to spaces. There was a bug on our site where the space in the API was different than the space in our database (ascii type stuff) - we've fixed that so as long as your gamertag matches (you may need to re-insert spaces in your TGCT profile since TGC 2019 removed them and 2K21 has them back in) your scores will show back up. This message is more a PSA for others as I'll fix yours up now.

Since this is the timetable thread - it's worth updating that a lot of progress is being made and these two weeks of test events will dictate if we can go September 21st. We should know by this Sunday as we get a full test week in on all things TGCT. Will be dumping a lot of news/updates on Sunday if that's the case.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere definitively, but is the API still working? Is it catching "unfair" swings in the new game?

Correct, event names will be different. For example, the Waste Management Phoenix Open will now be called the Phoenix Championship. That's kind of how we're renaming them. We are working on the event sponsorship idea. We get requests from time to time so we definitely want to facilitate that and we'll hopefully have that read for the start of the season. Awesome, we at VANDELAY Industries will be happy to see that changes to tournament naming. BTW, what is the going rate to sponsor an event on the tours? Does that cost range between Platinum all the way down to Pro-Am?
