Can you answer a few questions, please ? Do I use the MyPlayer function to set Master level vs. Pro or ProAm clubs? Or is that a setting determined by each individual course ? Do I use master clubs, for instance, by adding them individually to my golf bag, or how do I set myself up to play with them ? It seems the prior game was more intuitive so I don't quite know what I'm doing yet. Is there an instruction manual or help function within the game ? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide me. The 'pro', 'masters', etc are difficulty settings - not clubs like the 2019 game. You set your difficulty in the gameplay settings. NOTE: If you play in any of the TGCTours societies - the settings locked in those societies will over-ride your personal settings when playing those events.

I mean on the one hand, they're OK with repurposing the CC-Am to "something else" but also, can't have a pro tour because it would be too much work. So I'll call BS on that logical inconsistency. But if they're OK with cutting out the pro-level players, good to know. I'm OK cutting out my monthly donation too. I'm pretty disappointed with this take, but to each their own. You are more than welcome to disagree, but I'd think long and hard before calling BS on the admins, because they do their absolute best to build something enjoyable for everyone. This argument is so tired. Basically people who don't want to play on a level playing field all the way up and down the tours, which is what SO many people asked for for two years with the whole master/pro club on CC stuff, and so now we have it, and a great career progression model, and people are calling them out for it. You know what, I'm going to call Tim Finchem to see if he'll let me play on the PGA Tour next year, even though I want to play from the white tees so that my difficulty is lower, because I feel like he OWES me that. C'mon people.

There isn’t enough room on the site for both tours..... this is replacing the BCT on the site. Adding another tour to the site requires to much work for its benefit I believe No tour would be added with that plan. there was CC-am and CC-pro before. now it would be cc-pro and cc-master. You're not understanding... There were 3 pro tours, 8 cc tours (4 pro, 4 am) and the bct tour. The addition of two cc levels put a lot of strain on the resources of the site. The new proposal is 3 pro tours, 7 cc tours (all combined Master) and the other separate tour. Creating another separate tour, or repurposing the extra 8th cc tour into a separate tour is too complicated.

The admins have decided to shrink the Challenge Circuit back into a single society, and re-purpose what was once CC-Am into something else. TGCT has not made an announcement about how that new society will be used. At last look it was still named "TGCTours TBA". My guess is this will be a high end (PS4 only?) society kind of like the World/Rocher Tour was back in TGC2... Legend difficulty maybe?

How can I vote? I don't see an option to vote? I would vote for Pro Am.

Doyley thanks for considering adding the "pro" level. Just some feedback: I think it would be nice to have the challenge circuit be pro level, similar to last tour. This is because the main game's online modes are all set at "pro." I absolutely love playing a TGC tour, but because of the "masters only" setting, I don't play any of the online 2k modes....which is very frustrating. I just don't want to jump from "pro" to "masters" so I can play them all. If the challenge circuit is set to "pro," then others can play all modes (yours and 2k). Hope that made sense.

It took me a year to go from PRO to Master in '19 so I suspect it will take a year to go from Pro . . . to Master . . again in '21. I respect your decisions and appreciate all you guys do! I'm OK if there is no PRO level and understand what you are doing.

Is it possible to have the same mechanics of the pro tours replicated for this pro-am tour? 3 flights with promotions/demotions? Basically copying the code used for platinum, elite, kinetic but using a different club difficulty?
Just thinking it would make this more enjoyable and feel like the rest of the site instead of having a ton of folks lumped into a single flight.
Probably more work that none of the admins want to take on, but I thought I’d throw it out there.
I’m personally going to try to get a tour card with Masters but I am pretty fearful being on Xbox, my chances are really slim.
As far as Pro vs Pro Am, I have no opinion because I haven’t tried either setting.

It makes total sense, but they've explained why it doesn't work and from my personal perspective I will give my opinion also; In 2019 I played on Pro clubs on PC, Using Master clubs gave a more realistic feel to the game, however being on PC not PS4, I could not get a better score using Masters instead of Pro. I stuck with Pro the entire season. I was in CC-A for most of the season, only dropping to CC-B when I came back from a long break. Being in CC-A there is nothing to work for using Pro clubs. I was at the highest level I could possibly achieve realistically. Sure I could promote up had I gained enough promo marks but this means I would have had to switch to Masters and most certainly would have been dropped back into CC-A immediately. Along with myself, I would assume there were many others who would straight refuse to promote into the higher tour because it would force them to use masters clubs. This is where the big issue began to show itself. Another massive ordeal was the mixing of Pro/Masters clubs in the CC tours. This was a big mess with many people asking for a split league and led to many changes in how promotions were handled and it personally was frustrating doing better than someone who got a promo in CC-B when I didn't and I beat them!! Anyways, the main point is putting everyone on the same difficulty in 2K21 is the best option. Putting a lower flight into a different difficulty setting would just replicate the same problem as 2019 had. People would refuse to move up to the harder difficulty. This is why Pro/Pro-am tour whatever they decide, will be 100% seperate from the rest of the tours. No promoting from there just a separate tour for lower skilled players. That is why the idea was to set it at Pro-am instead of Pro. I think Pro-am is the way to go. Most closely resembles the begginer clubs in 2019. If it is on Pro then the winners of the Pro Tour would definitely be able to compete at the lowest flights in the Master difficulty Tours. For that reason I think Pro-am is better. If you think it's too easy and want Pro, then just try Masters. If Masters is too hard then Pro isn't going to be super easy either. Making it Pro will incentivize some to not even bother with trying on Masters. This could be good and bad. Good if TGCT wants to limit players in competitive tours, but bad for competition overall since the key really is to practice and get better.

But I don’t agree with you that Masters and Pro setting are about the same. Personally, I think Masters is too hard and makes the game not enjoyable (played about 60 hours in Masters); whereas Pro IS easier than Masters but still challenging enough to where you still have bad rounds. Hence, why my vote is for Pro over Pro-Am settings.

Being a part of this league since it’s founding, all of the game iterations and league adaptations, I believe the pro swing difficulty with the other settings at masters level is the most logical and sensible way to go.
A little more forgiving with tempo than masters but not so much where everyone is an iron byron throwing darts wherever they want.
Mistakes are still punished enough to make you work that recovery/scramble to save a par.

Next exhibition event in the ProAm society will be on Pro difficulty.
