Will split off the slow chip chat from here on out - let's get back to other details of the game - I'm at work now and will catch up shortly.

I haven't seen Multi Divisions within Societies addressed yet. Are we able to set 4 or 5 layered Divisions (by HCP, or points, or $$) within a Society? Not sure on this one - didn't dig deep enough to see

Will societies have live turn order or will it be the ghost option we have now? Couldn't really test/check into this stuff so not sure - most of us were just trying to get as much gameplay in as possible and just peeked into society settings/setup.

HBCraig's response had made me significantly less excited for this game. This 96% thing, if I understand it correctly, sounds terrible. I'll reserve judgement until guys are able to hit consistent tempo. Remains to be seen how it'll be on the other systems.

Is HB giving TGCTours 6 manageable societies or have they increased that number?

Again, anyone playing this with a mouse? Has it changed or is there any difference?

Societies not available until September 21st?? WTF?? Career Mode gets old very quickly. Sad that they have not allowed the ability to have multiple divisions. Now lets see if they fixed the handicap function but that would require them to fix the slope rating on custom courses. That would be too much to ask wouldn't it? Sorry, I got stupid and typed the wrong month. I meant Aug 21. What an idiot I am.
We will just chalk that up to your excitement for the new game!

I'll second the question regarding mouse on PC. It looks like all the early testers were using controllers. I don't know what settings were being used, but even those with a wonky swing line still seemed to be hitting their marks. So, I'm curious if it's still disproportionately punishing using a mouse.
Other than that, I'm curious what this talk is about difficulty levels. I'm sure the information is scattered in one thread/video or another, but I was hoping I could get a quick summary for the sake of brevity.
I'm seeing "legendary" and "Masters" being mentioned ... I thought everything was supposed to be even-steven this time around with no separate club sets. Could anyone clarify what these settings are and what basic differences they have? I'd certainly appreciate it, cheers!

So you can play on amateur difficulty and hit the same distance, get the same spin, as on the most difficult legendary difficulty etc. There are 6 different difficulty levels in the game when it comes to swing difficulties - and you can customize the difficulty presets in what aids you would like to have or not. Very good customization so everyone can enjoy the game on the difficulty that suits you. As for the career difficulties - I do not like them at all. They have opponent difficulty (how low do the AI score - I would like realistic AI scoring no matter what), condition difficulty (I would much prefer to have varied realistic conditions for all - I truly dislike a game that has the same conditions round after round).

Important question: Has the 2 club drop rule been implemented with red penalty areas? It doesn't look like they've fixed the drop settings at all. Seamount's ball barely trickled into the water short left of the 17th green at Scottsdale, he was rewarded with a drop behind the huge stand to the left of the fairway . A totally nonsensical place to have to drop your ball.

Calibrate swing - or identify your swing? If you calibrate, everyone will reach the same distance (as long as they are consistent). I, for example, would repeat the TGC 2019 swing. The new game seems to identify where you will be (easy, difficult, master ...), not calibrate. I already made the advance purchase. I'll see in a few days.

alexandre As I understand it, calibration effects your tempo, or downswing timing. So in 2019 if you predominantly hit fast downswing tempo's, 2K21 calibration would make your ideal tempo more in the 2019 fast range. In regards to people reaching the same distance, that will heavily rely on which club/attributes your Myplayer has equipped. Only those with identical clubs equipped will have the potential to hit the same distance.

TGC 2019 tempo is a thing of the past - even with calibration you'll not get one slow enough to match. The swing is much faster in this game. You still have to be close to HB's tempo - it just adjusts slightly to your controller from what I can tell. It's not a cure all fix to hitting perfect tempo every shot on the harder levels - at least for me but I'm a poor tempo hitter in 2019 so we'll see what happens when some of you 100%'ers show up lol.
