I'll second the question regarding mouse on PC. It looks like all the early testers were using controllers. I don't know what settings were being used, but even those with a wonky swing line still seemed to be hitting their marks. So, I'm curious if it's still disproportionately punishing using a mouse. Other than that, I'm curious what this talk is about difficulty levels. I'm sure the information is scattered in one thread/video or another, but I was hoping I could get a quick summary for the sake of brevity. I'm seeing "legendary" and "Masters" being mentioned ... I thought everything was supposed to be even-steven this time around with no separate club sets. Could anyone clarify what these settings are and what basic differences they have? I'd certainly appreciate it, cheers! Having been part of a very small part of the community who tested the mouse during the last open beta, I'm fairly sure they will have a mouse feature. I'm also sure that it hasn't been thoroughly tested as controllers are what nearly everyone will play with. If this game follows like the others, the mouse swing will probably be broken to start or at least require some extreme tweaking. It will be up to us mouse users to send in as much feedback as possible in order to be heard. With the 2019, the mouse swing was broken right from the beginning. HB told it it was working as intended and it took them about a month to realize it wasn't really working as intended and fix. So don't expect too much at launch. I also expect the mouse swing to go under many iterations so we'll be relearning it over and over again as they 'tweak' it. I hope i'm wrong but sadly, mouse swings just aren't anywhere near the top of their 'to do' list.
All that being said, I went ahead and purchased the game which will come out on my birthday. So I justified it as a birthday gift.

There's such a wide range of settings/difficulties that anyone should be able to find their slice of fun. I think we'll have a hard time pleasing everyone with the settings that TGC Tours sets since there's no way our ideal settings will match up with everyone's tastes. If you like it easy - you can do that and have a blast If you like it hard - you can do that and have a blast. If you like it easy and play on hard settings you'll get frustrated quick. If you like it hard and play on easy settings you'll get bored quick (though it'll look lovely while doing it!)
The way every online tour has been set in different games has been a tour for each difficulty. You get some players on all, but most on medium settings, which I guess is ca pro in this game. Not sure you want to do that, but it is an option to please everyone 😊 Might be better to cycle the difficulties on the pro tours. So like one week is easy swing next legendary then something in the middle. Would make WGR based on knowledge of the complete game rather than a niche difficulty

Pardon me for not reading everything, but if a person plays with a 96%, would we be able to see that power by playing their ghost, or is it like now, where you can only see the shot but not the power, swing plane, ect?

Important question: Has the 2 club drop rule been implemented with red penalty areas? It doesn't look like they've fixed the drop settings at all. Seamount's ball barely trickled into the water short left of the 17th green at Scottsdale, he was rewarded with a drop behind the huge stand to the left of the fairway . A totally nonsensical place to have to drop your ball. Did he get 20 XP for taking a drop? Now there's a quick way to unlock stuff

What a great day of streaming! Thanks everyone for your support. HB Shaun said that nobody would be able to break par on the Legend Preset on Day 1. Whoopsie.

I haven’t seen much on the different clubs available. Is there a risk/reward feel to them? Driver A goes 300 yards, and Driver B goes 280, but Driver A is significantly harder to hit straight?

Can anyone give a quick synopsis on major and/or minor designer changes? Biggest change is that trees, rocks, etc. are no longer tied to theme. You can plant cacti in the Highland theme if you want. You can also spline plant trees and things, too.

That's kind of the way it works...there aren't any overpowered clubs or ones that are "better" than others. Each one offers some pros and cons to allow you to consider using them use strategically. For example, if a driver offers more in the way of distance, you'll have to sacrifice shot shaping ability, or vice versa.

Would be nice to know if there's an option to use a mouse. I'm at a disadvantage in TGC 2019 using a mouse, but would rather the challenge of using a true swing device versus a controller and a stick, just not the feeling that you're actually controlling your swing, a mouse is a much more realistic feel. I won't purchase this if it doesn't have this option, I hope somebody can give us an answer on this.
