The way every online tour has been set in different games has been a tour for each difficulty. You get some players on all, but most on medium settings, which I guess is ca pro in this game. Not sure you want to do that, but it is an option to please everyone 😊 Probably the biggest decision we'll have to make and will dictate the direction of TGCT for the game. 1 setting for the entire site or vary levels depending on tour - pros/cons to each. |

At the top of your backswing a 1 second pause through a 4s pause will always produce exactly 96% power. Verified at RespawnTV.

Important question: Has the 2 club drop rule been implemented with red penalty areas? Doesn't appear so lets hope we won't be hitting from behind the grandstands any more. If they promote the PGA in game well they play by USGA rules. So lets hope they have that right. |

Good to see tees being able to be changed per round which made it more interesting in TGC1. Any idea on society settings with regards to allowing club upgrades and such or can it be locked so everyone is using the same equipment? Are those buffs just for career mode such as longer distance with less accuracy? Thanks You can't lock out clubs - so they'll always be available. My response to HB in twitch:
@hb_craigc You guys might want to make some adjustments to that SLOW. Otherwise,if you use that 96% slow you can adjust spin/angle to create your own make shift power % to dial in shots.
96% can easily be made 99 to 100% with adjusting the spin and angle though. Twitch Prime11BC2: Or be made to be 88% etc. Twitch Prime11BC2: You could spend 2 or 3 days charting it out and get VERY PRECISE and REPEATABLE results. Beyond that, choosing clubs with more shot shaping allow even more freedom for the above.

Just watched a Youtube segment, Apexhound, go through a round with the new game. Liked what I saw. Preordered two weeks ago since 2019 will be spiked in a couple of weeks. Swing mechanics look better on the new game..."looks better" is the optimum phrase. So far enjoying this thread.

I haven't seen Multi Divisions within Societies addressed yet.
Are we able to set 4 or 5 layered Divisions (by HCP, or points, or $$) within a Society?

I haven't seen Multi Divisions within Societies addressed yet. Are we able to set 4 or 5 layered Divisions (by HCP, or points, or $$) within a Society? That probably won't happen. Also don't think societies will be available until Aug 21. I wish they would do multi divisions also. Sure would be easier. Hopefully they'll have the statistics working as they've been down the last month in 2019. |

LOL - good luck getting HB to admit there is a bug.......they never did for all the 2019 swing glitches / cheats......

Do you see legendary being for PGA or for TST or both? As in PGA would have a few more features enabled? Perhaps if you could elaborate on that at some point after you have an understanding of it. Initial thoughts are Legendary will be too difficult - but that's after only a few rounds. My stats are generally Fairways (30%) greens (15%) and putts/hole around 2. The good thing is that the option is there to go harder should everyone get really good - but out of the box, it's eons tougher than anything available in 2019. The Master difficulty seems to be the initial sweet spot - tougher than 2019 but not frustratingly so. None of these decisions will be made w/out a couple of exhibition events under our belt. We'll be throwing a bunch of different ones up to see what the results look like. Hi Doyley Can you elaborate on what your thoughts could be in regards to the scores you and admin want to see on the top tours. Is the goal to see scores that are more real life (-10 winning events) in PGA or are you guys happier seeing -50 winning each week to encourage a more enjoyable experience? |

Societies not available until September 21st?? WTF?? Career Mode gets old very quickly. Sad that they have not allowed the ability to have multiple divisions. Now lets see if they fixed the handicap function but that would require them to fix the slope rating on custom courses. That would be too much to ask wouldn't it? |
