This is most definitely not an excuse for me to post 11 at Tufts East for the twentieth time. Anyways, 1) Matador #1 - Par 4, 390 yds. 2) Tufts - West #2 - Par 5, 535 yds. 3) Tufts - West #3 - Par 3, 205 yds. 4) Catoosa #4 - Par 5, 590 yds. 5) Tufts - East #5 - Par 4, 295 yds. 6) Catoosa - #6 - Par 4, 340 yds. 7) Tufts - East #7 - Par 4, 430 yds. 8) Olde Mill #8 - Par 3, 180 yds. 9) Tufts - East #9 - Par 4, 355 yds. 10) Sakiyawa #10 - Par 4, 490 yds. 11) Tufts - East #11 - Par 3, 130 yds. 12) Sakiyawa #12 - Par 4, 390 yds. 13) Tufts - East #13 - Par 4, 285 yds. 14) Catoosa #14 - Par 4, 305 yds. 15) Tufts - West #15 - Par 5, 550 yds. 16) Tufts - West #16 - Par 4, 410 yds. 17) Sakiyawa #17 - Par 4, 495 yds. 18) Tufts - East #18 - Par 4, 440 yds. Par 72, 6,815 yds. 4 drivable Par 4s. Had 6 originally but ended up replacing a couple. In a couple courses time, I'll probably be able to make an Eclectic 18 of just drivable 4s. Dunno, sounds like an excuse for you to post 11 at Tufts East for the twentieth time

Your tree's missing a lot of lower limbs (all of them). While common in dense forests without enough light, this one appears to be well seperated. Cause: water stress. It's literally dying from the bottom up. Probably time to axe it. Trust me, i'm an arborist.

Oh sure, obviously the best 18 holes in the game. Alphasand Dunes 1-18. Except maybe Fisheye 17. That's such an original hole idea that it might beat out one of those holes. Hey, maybe not troll the contest judges. ** Sharpens pencil **

Hey, maybe not troll the contest judges. ** Sharpens pencil ** Upon checking, it seems notaburneracct was pretty much the only forum member not involved in the CC. Weird. Wonder who to take our wrath out on?

Come to think of it... if your going to project anger, it probably shouldn't be at a person that judged the WCOD where two Bay courses made the top 4. Just saying.

Beatiful thread. @andersnm i played all your courses, i love all of them but i still believe Losby is a really undervalued gem. A brilliant design (some hole is simply outstandingly smart and nice looking. No talking about that change of light when you play the pair of holes between the trees...something unforgettable) and one of my favorite courses

Good news is that I am going to finish that course after all

Hole 1: Usui Ogawa (Par 5) Hole 2: Snake Creek (Par 3) Hole 3: Indian Run (Par 5) Hole 4: Columbia Pines (Par 4) Hole 5: Columbia Pines (Par 4) Hole 6: Snake Creek (Par 4) Hole 7: Columbia Pines (Par 5) Hole 8: Snake Creek (Par 4) Hole 9: Snake Creek (Par 5) Hole 10: Snake Creek (Par 4) Hole 11: Snake Creek (Par 5) Hole 12: Columbia Pines (Par 3) Hole 13: Mt. Kessler (Par 4) Hole 14: Snake Creek (Par 4) Hole 15: Snake Creek (Par 3) Hole 16: Snake Creek (Par 4) Hole 17: Mt. Kessler (Par 3) Hole 18: Snake Creek (Par 4) Going back and playing all of my old courses was a fun way to spend an afternoon... lots of holes I forgot about. The main thing I noticed is that a lot of the holes on Snake Creek aren’t outstanding, but the course as a whole is just so much better than anything else I’ve created. Also, apparently none of my 15th holes have been that good, because 15 on Snake Creek was the best of my 15th holes, but it’s one of the weaker holes on the course.

Going back and playing all of my old courses was a fun way to spend an afternoon... lots of holes I forgot about. Echo this sentiment entirely. In an area where we can get very self-critical, I really enjoyed the pleasant surprises of holes that were better than I remembered far more than replaying the ones I already knew I liked. Nice to see the pics and Snake Creek again

Wow, this actually took a full hour to type and think of. I bet im wrong on some of these but here are my holes... 1. Keuka Dunes (4) Really nice open view off the tee that I love. 2. Quincy Downs (4) The view coming back to the clubouse is my favorite. 3. Keuka Dunes (4) I just love how the "room" the dune makes encloses on the player at the green. 4. Quincy Downs (3) The sculpting on the side is just deadly and im happy when I see a soul die from missing left 5. Quincy Downs (4) The way the green is shaped into the pond is one of my best sculpting acomplishments 6. Quincy Downs (5) Best par 5 I've ever designed. 7. The Malibu Club (5) Another strong par 5 uphill. 8. Keuka Dunes (3) My only intentional template hole and it worked well 9. Melrose G.C. (4) The Clubhouse is framed nicely 10. Quincy Downs (3) Big tree... That is all i need to say. 11. Quincy Downs (5) Another strong par 5 12. Quincy Downs (4) My favorite blind tee shot on my designs. 13. Empire Pines (3) The Islands off the coast are pretty 14. Quincy Downs (4) The sculpting on the left side of the green. Come on... 15. Melrose G.C. (3) Some of my best ross work and bunkering here was fun as hell. 16. The Malibu Club (4) Just a nice cliffside hole. 17. Keuka Dunes (4) My only good 17th hole. Malibu 17 is know for being stupid and the almost 90 degree dogleg on Quincy. 18. Quincy Downs (4) The clubouse... yea.
