Oh boy. I'm on the horns of a dilemma. Got an e-mail today from TGC Tours, saying the following : Hi John,
Please change your surname - we've had a member write in that Bollocks is an offensive term in their region - since we're a global site we're going to request you change it and we'll return your CC-A tour card once you comply.
Thanks.
I don't know what to do here. Forgo my long-standing TGC identity or my CC-A tour card. Haha. Have you also had an email telling you you've won the Nigerian lottery Johnny?   It had Doyley's name on it, so I knew it was legit.

I honestly thought about it, but I didn't want him to think I was taking the piss, as my British friends might say. I was going to go with Johnny ω. I'll try that if they don't accept my singular name.

I thought Johnny was the offensive word wow some people really get their togas in a twist. Why not change it to Johnny Cumalot? What a load of bollocks. I mean, come on.... So they may just not have gotten to it, or they weren't keen on just "Johnny." So, I just changed it to Johnny Onions. Let's see if that passes muster. |

Bet whoever's complained has a name like Wayne Kerr Might be his Spanish brother Juan. Luckily I changed from mofopat to Celtic Wolf before I got pulled up. Although with a bit of searching I did find a Stammers and a Fenian if I wanted to be offended. |
