Ashton Fox 1st round -4 You would think home advantage and superior course knowledge would count for something. On the 4 hardest holes I shot +4 but managed 6 birdies and an eagle so the round wasn't a total write off. After picking up 3 demotion marks last week I need a good week to steady the ship and stop me from dropping to CC-Am, don't worry I won't be playing the amateur rounds I'll be sticking to the pro rounds.

Ashton Fox 2nd round -7 This was looking like it was going to be a disappointing round as I was -1 through 9 with a bogey and 2 birdies. The next 4 holes didn't inspire much hope with a single birdie on the 10th. But a late rally of birdies from the 14th onwards saved my blushes on this round.

Dear Ashton Fox, dear interested reader, I'm going to make it short, as I just returned from vacation and thus have some laundry to do. Thoroughly enjoyed my rounds on your course, Pat! Apparently, that week off didn't hurt my game. After a slow start (E after 6), I managed to pull off some very consistent and very satisfying play. Overall, a very elegant -46 (-11, -12, -11, and -12) is in the books. Good luck and have fun!

Hunter Hunter B 76 7. Paul sid snott 53 8. Dom Doume6307 15 Kevin looking to complete the sweep this week as he has continued his brilliant play which means it looks like everyone else will be fighting for 2nd and the places below. Good luck to everyone this week and the track shouldn't be an issue as I've heard this is an absolute gem of a course (as Pat's course are)

Ashton Fox 3rd round -12 There he's there! Took me a while to get going on home soil but managed a more respectable round as I targeted certain holes. I started off with a birdie before dropping 2 pars on 2 and 3, after that I went off on a run of birdies from the 4th to the 8th. I dropped a 41ft eagle putt on the 9th and added another 3 birdies on the easiest stretch of the course. After that I relaxed and only managed one birdie on the last 6 holes, which came on the 14th.

-8 first round, kind of a slow start (I predict slow middle followed by a slow finish... )
This game turns into jest : -8 and 105th on the PC leader-board ! WTF!

Ashton Fox 4th round -12 If only I played like this on the first two rounds I'd have a more comfortable wait for the leaderboards to be finalised. Five birdies and an eagle on the front 9, the eagle came from a flop shot on the 9th and I even made birdie on the 2nd hole. I started and ended the back 9 with back to back birdies with another one popped right in the middle on the 14th, another 5 birdies but unfortunately no eagle to match the front 9.

Just an absolute gem of a course, Celtic Wolf . I was only going to play one round but I was having so much fun I just kept going until I ran out of rounds. Missed a silly putt on the final hole to get to a nice even -40 but the play was much improved. A bittersweet finish. As always, good luck to those with rounds yet to finish!

Still a few more rounds to shake out but it's looking like we know who is going to take the overall crown for the Dirtbags SIT.

Nice welcoming course this week but, hey, 110 players between -35 and -53 on the PC leader-board. Can't imagine what it is on the PS One.
Really it's not bitterness, but I found no fun in sinking birdies like threading pearls on a necklace.
But some scores like this week are relaxing, I must say...

Well... That's it. The Dirtbags SIT is complete. Before I run through the final standings, I first want to thank everyone who participated. This tournament is ending with the circumstances being MUCH different as it started. As you all know, this was created to try and bring the Dirtbags together one last time before the new game or complete disbanding. While we didn't get the turn out I was hopeful for, I believe we still accomplished this mission. This set of tournaments was also meant to have a little competition without pressure and obligation. I think we absolutely showed how a laid back society can still effectively run as everyone that started also finished. All in all, I would call this a success. I want to thank you all for participating and while I hope the Dirtbags name lives on, I'm not sure I'm the right guy to carry the torch. I am absolutely able to help (I can do the scoring instantly as I'm tagged as I keep it on my phone) in anyway possible. I'm guessing these discussions will pick up steam as the excitement of the new game builds and information becomes available of what the game looks like. I don't know what it felt like for you guys but for me, this was a way to stay competitive yet enjoy my rounds and not have tons of notifications or fluff reading to do; it was all about the golf. So again, thank you everyone as this went as smoothly as I could have hoped! So, now to the important stuff.... The winner of the Dirtbags SIT (and he's used to winning after finishing first in 3 of the 4 tournaments) up mup kupen nup Kevin E! Congratulations and VERY well played! 🏆 The runner up as he took FULL advantage of the double points at the end because he jumped from 5th to 2nd with some great shooting and that's pablo Pablo! The rest of the order goes as follows: 3. zorbacles Andrew X 4. Ashton 5. Hunter B Hunter 6. Celtic Wolf Pat 7. sid snott Paul 8. Doume6307 Dom Again, thank you so much everyone! Hopefully I will see you all around on the next game! NOTE: If anyone is interested in doing some "drop-in" tournaments as we finish out this game, I could certainly put some thought into that so we have something we can do as we finish out this current game.
