Lighthouse Falls 18 hole beta publishedFor anyone who has time to give my Lighthouse Falls 18 hole beta, it's published. You can find the info in my WIP thread below: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/26533/lighthouse-falls-wipI'm working on the hole-by-hole writeups now and I'd suggest playing it at the default settings. I designed the course to require shaping shots on many of the holes and being on the correct side of the fairway for an open approach to the green. It's a beefy 7500+ yards from the black tees, including a few long par 4's & 5's. It also includes short par 4's that could be challenged for birdies or result in bogies+ No easter eggs on this beta, but there will be in the final published file. Thanks in advanced for any comments and suggestions (positive, negative or anything in between) :-)

After some hole re-arranging, after great feedback, including Q I'm proud to say that Lighthouse Falls, my first, full 18 course has been published.
Note: holes 1, 14-18 were my entry into the TGC Design League #4 contest.
You can find it listed as Lighthouse Falls and search for it also in the Completed Course area for a full writeup, hole-by-hole strategies and a little about the mysteries found on the course. There's mysterious rock groupings and a hedged maze too solve on one side of the island, behind the 10th tee.

The first month of 2021 is almost gone and still I (and others) sit awaiting news of the first Design League event for this year!  Any news? I know that WCOD is going on and many are busy with their designs, but there are plenty who who did get signed up in time who would jump at a chance to compete. Design League, Design League, Design League....Deisgn... okay, ya'll get my drift.  |
