55 59 56 59. I'm starting to think if you shoot anything above a 58 in any round of these tourneys that you can count yourself out of contention. I was looking good until Blitzer put up a 52 in round 4. and I will still probably miss a top 5 finish. LOL

Nice to log onto the main site and see my name atop of the leaderboard. I shall enjoy it while it lasts.....
Still don't think -65 will get me a top 10 which is crazy

Trying something different this week, going to just play one round a day instead of ripping through them. Need to figure out why I puke rounds 3 & 4 every week, its gotta be failure to maintain focus right? Anyhoo, opened up w a real nice 56, (2 better than my best practice round,) my best posted tour round yet; I estimate I could've legitimately shot 53. As far as the easy course vs hard course debate, I think there's more pressure playing these easier tracks because you need to break par EVERY hole.

Started off the round by hitting a bad second shot into #1 and found the water. My heart instantly sank as that is the most easiest hole to eagle on the course. It put me in the rough just before the water and there was no way i could reach the green on my now fourth shot and had to lay up. I managed to get out of there with a VERY disappointing bogey. I walked away from the computer for a bit and gathered myself up and continued the round.
I was -14 under through 16, making two eagles along the way. On #17 i was thinking I really need to get it close and MUST make eagle. My second shot with a 5 wood, hit once on the green, rolled and struck the pin solid, still it didn't go in but left me with 3 inches for that eagle. So close!
In the end -17 for the rounds which keeps me in contention, if i had eagled the first hole it would have been a -20 so I'm very happy with the round. Winds were respectable 5-10mph. I finished and they had gone up to 14mph so I decided to get some work done and come back.
I'm very happy with this considering last week i had no swing. In the end I reinstalled everything and put TGC on a Ram disk to make sure there was no latency issues and that seems to have resolved most of my swing issues. Last week i was about 40% hitting the fairways.

I played my first two rounds in 15-20mph winds and will most definitely miss the cut at -19. Just in case 50+ players withdraw, I played my third and fourth rounds in milder winds and shot 60/56. Lesson learned there.

Yeah there was a snaffu with that Doyley said he would be switching me over to the proper tour as i had an issue trying to register on Friday. It said I had to wait 5 days before the event to join. I thought maybe it was full and mailed him and he said it wasn't, he'd move me over and check out what the issue was. I only registered for he other in case we couldn't get it solved.

Brighttail, When you cross over, do you have to withdraw from registered event first then register for new event 5 days prior or just register for new event and it will auto withdraw you from previous event? Thanks.

Finished the 4th round. My best round ever, without any eagles. Hopefully it will be my best placement also, need a big jump to get onto the masters...

Thanks. I understand all of this. I was withdrawn out of the other tournament and got that message. I thought originally I had tried to register for next weeks but when I tried again it gave me the same message. Doyley is looking into it. Since Euro was NOT full he is allowing the cross over since it was attempted and something went wrong on the server side. If I had been registered for the PGA and tried to register for Euro it would have said, I was already registered for another tournament. This was not the message.

Well my -59 isn't going to do much at all. If it wasn't my swing failing me it was my putting. I can't tell you how many little 8 footers I left hanging on the lip. Actually I can .. Out of four rounds there were 11 that just slid past the hole on the low end and I couldn't over come it.
Really is frustrating knowing that I can put up a -21 but then shoot a -14. It is like night and day with my swing and there is little to no consistency.
