Shot 58/56 for rounds 1 and 2. Hopefully that will make the cut, but I shall wait and see for now.
Hit an Albatross on Hole 13 in Round 2 for a bit of a highlight, I left a link for the video in the Instant Replay forum.

Made the crossover this week, missed too many opportunities on the first 2 rounds, -28 hopefully will make the cut. Improved 3rd and 4th rounds to finish -62. My putting needs to improve though i 3 putted from about 8ft on the 2nd hole somehow!

Welp...my tournament chances took a massive hit after a 95% ball in water on the 1st hole in R2 (bogey) AND R3 (par). That's giving 3 strokes to the field. The winds didn't give me any chance at eagles on 10, 13, or 17 either. I was so frustrated, I tabled the rest of R3 for another day. Gonna need to go loooowwwwww over the last 35 just to stay on the horizon.

Well, I'm gonna quit TGCT! We have a -61 in the books for round 2, that's too much for me to take!

Trying something different this week, going to just play one round a day instead of ripping through them. Need to figure out why I puke rounds 3 & 4 every week, its gotta be failure to maintain focus right? Anyhoo, opened up w a real nice 56, (2 better than my best practice round,) my best posted tour round yet; I estimate I could've legitimately shot 53. As far as the easy course vs hard course debate, I think there's more pressure playing these easier tracks because you need to break par EVERY hole. Continuing on to 2nd round, started w a very weak -8 thru 12, hit good 2nd shot on 13 leaving a 15 or so foot putt for eagle. Went on to make the putt and proceeded to birdie the remaining holes to finish -15. Had really favorable winds so said what the hell and shot 3rd round despite my original plan to not shoot more than 1 round a day. No 3rd choke this week and fired another -15. Then greed set in and started 4th round, and as luck would have it, big mistake! 2nd shot on one was a horribly timed 97%er into the drink. FML. About to hop on and finish tourney, hoping for a -14 to get to -60 for the week. If I do so, even w a couple dozen scores out there better than that, I'll still consider that a huge personal success.

Should see some beauty scorecards this tournament - can you beat the PGA cut at 23-under? Chat away! And the answer to this is yes barring some miracle. Cut is currently -23 with 30 odd players yet to post a score

-13, -15, -13, -15 = -56 Played all rounds late last night into this morning in 7 to 14 mph winds. Took a crippling double bogey in round 1 on hole 11. Had a vicious crosswind that was just slightly in my face and it knocked the ball right out of the sky way shorter than I thought and caught the creek. That's a great hole with a tough pin with that high right to left wind. Learned my lesson the rest of the night.
I'm curious for others thoughts out there, especially those of you "middle of the pack" guys like myself. It's really difficult for me shooting a -56 and then reading on here about guys with 6 eagles in a round WITH a missed eagle putt. I mean, it's nothing against them at all, it's crazy good scoring and more power to them. I think it's my over-competitive nature that's causing me problems. It's hard to think that I shot -56 for this tournament, my best score so far (granted on the easiest course any of us have played on here) and even if I improved each round by 4 or 5 shots I still wouldn't have a chance. I mean, it's still fun to play and make great shots or some tricky putts, but the "birdie pressure" that I've seen others talk about does not make the game fun. It wasn't enjoyable thinking that I have to be 9 under through 9 each round. I'm just wondering if I'll be able to keep up the motivation to play this all year knowing I'll never really be competitive. I try to focus on just playing the best I can but like I said, that competitive gene really gets going and competing for a top 50 isn't quite the same as a top 10. I originally qualified for the web tour, and probably should have stayed there but couldn't resist that sponsors exemption to try the Euro tour. Does the vast disparity between the elite and the rest of us on the tour get to anyone else? Do some of you other guys feel the same or do I just need to get my panties un-bunched and deal with it? Just throwing it out there for some thoughts. I really hope this doesn't sound like whining or sour grapes, not my intent. I'm fully prepared for a bunch of deal with it comments.
I remember trying to play Tiger Woods online on the xbox 360 and all the tournaments were won by guys shooting -25 or better so it was just pointless. A big difference with that is that in this game everyone is using the same golfer, which makes the scoring going on in our game that much more impressive.

I came over from the PGA this week to see how I'd do with the Euro folks. The last 2 weeks, last week on the PGA and this week on the Euro, I put up some pretty solid scores and I'm still at the bottom of the barrel. I'm just never going to play this game enough to compete with the guys putting up a 53 every round. I'm losing interest really quickly because it just isn't fun for the more casual player.

The next few weeks will have harder courses on the PGA and Euro tours. The scores won't be as good, then you can see how you compare.
There will be more of a focus of a birdie being a good thing, rather than a par being bad.

That's good.
I just think that is not going to change anything drastically on the leaderboard.
