That's good. I just think that is not going to change anything drastically on the leaderboard. Agree. A lot of the top players are also over on Matt10s RGT without aids - and they are at the top of the leaderboard over there as well (what a surprise....). But the scores are much more realistic with larger variance between rounds - so happy faces all around.

Limped home w a 4th rd 61, thanks to 97% water shot on one and a careless draw w 13 mph crosswind on 11 into the drink for a double, (almost dunked a 2nd one there but managed to hold the deep rough btw green and creek.) Actually eagleded 3 and 17 for the first time all tourney, so that started a whole new round of the what-ifs for me. Overall 56-57-57-61=-57. First time south of -50. Still can't get over the feeling I could have actually got close to -70 but missed a lot of makeable putts and 3 putted 4 times leaving myself in horrible shape on the greens of the short par 4s, but I respect the putter only on the green rule.

I feel your pain mate, I did exactly the same thing. Shot 56,56,55 then doubled the 11th in round four and missed a few putts for a 62. Probably cost me a top 15 finish, gutted.

Oh man... I'm glad to read I was not the only one struggeling.
R3 was okay. Almost achieved my target to beat my personal record. But I missed the birdie putt on the 18th, so one more 57 on the scorecard.
But in R4, I've been @!$#ed by the game and/or the course. Some puts stayed out of the hole right on the edge. But okay, that's my fault. But then I had two 94%-shots going right into the water, leaving me with a bogey twice instead of chances to go for Eagle.
I HATE THAT sh%$!
Finally I came into the clubhouse with a 63 in the scorecard.
58-57-57-63 (-53)
Not happy with that! :-\

Cut looks like it'll be -24 or -25 - phew! Imagine that might be the last time we see a cut at that level.

Why are there players that finished outside of the top 70 that made the cut? They were not involved in ties w 70th place of better. In fact there's several that are 3 behind 70th place and still made it. Last week I was only 1 behind the tied 70th group and got the axe.

The third round scores have changed the order, nobody that wasn't at least equal 70th or better after 2 rounds have made the cut.

Know i beat 4 of the guys currently ahead of me after 72 holes but looks like the top 10 dream is over Hey jacko, I am sitting ahead of you after 3 rounds but you are ahead of me after 4. I had my best ever first three rounds 55 55 55 but played round 4 in a different wind direction and made a few errors with shots into the green, made 59 to give me -64, easily my best 4 round total so even with the nature of the course I am delighted. I played with your ghost ball all 4 rounds and it was great fun, well played.

Thank you for the clarification. Further to that, -24 after R2 made the cut in 70th position, and there were 8 guys tied at that number, so 78 guys made the cut. And as firstblitzer indicated, as soon as R3 scores go up, the order changes... which is why you can see guys placed lower than 70th post-cut with R3 scores revealed.
