Not sure which hole it is (around the turn somewhere) but it’s a really interesting tee shot which will catch out lots of people this week....
Par 4. Blind tee shot in front of a very steep bank, tree edging into the fairway on the left, because of that tree you aim safely to the right of middle, but because of the elevation you land 20 yards short and because the fairway is angled you’re skirting with the rough.
Well thought out and unique (?) tee shot

Well thought out and unique (?) tee shot That's #10- the real "meanie" hole. Only hole playing slightly over Par so far this week. I'm not a fan of blind tee shots, but I allow myself one per round. I like the way this one came off. You do have to aim a little farther left off the tee than you think. I agree with Jamie on the Par 5 15th (the last hole I designed on this course and my least favorite)- though more birdies than bogies so far this week. If this wasn't a design contest course (no Betas allowed)- I easily could've been talked off the ledge and encouraged to go with my option B- green about 75' left and 30' lower. in designer playtest- you couldn't reach the right side sloped FW (It never came into play)- the layup and intention was always flat par of the fairway left and just past the fairway bunker. I'm looking forward to getting my rounds in this afternoon.

Finished up, very happy with a bogey free -7 for round 3 and a disappointing -6 for the 4th after a bogey, bogey start straight after working my ass off for a clean 3rd round.
Should add up to -27

Finally came out to play. Felt refreshed, excited, and ready to set the world on fire. I might as well beat myself in the forehead with a hammer and go back into the designer.

I was playing great but I knew it was too good to be true. I knew I had no chance on this course. It’s the type of course where an Xbox player has no chance. A random very slow turned my round into a disappointment. Debating trying to go down to CC-A to be done with the masters junk.

Can't have lost your entire swing within two weeks only. A little bit of patience and you will be fine. Until then, you can rant here and enjoy the countryside while we roast your scores. I hope that was understandable english.

I'm not blaming the console for this missed cut, I made enough good things happen to have made it but too many mistakes to go with them. But, assuming the cut is -13 there are currently only 7 Xbox players above the line! This one does appear to have been a little rough on us for whatever the reason. Is what it is, at least I get a couple of extra hours in the designer this week

Yeah....I had enough decent shots/holes to make the cut or at least be sniffing around. Just had a few too many water balls that killed all hopes and the last 6-9 holes were played with ZFG.

I like the course, but hole 15 is a bit off. I had a bird in rd 1 and par in rd 2, but the hole is just a bit wonky for me. Rd 2 tempo got me, too many approach shotsfast or slow makes for tough scoring.
-11 and missing the cut.
In 3 tries since joining KF: 1 made cut 2 missed cuts (but I am around the cut line) so there is a positive!
:-)
Good Luck to those that made the cut.
Now to finish me rounds for that Golden Cow!

-13 at the cut which should be enough. My swing fell apart for the final two rounds and I finished at -16 for the tourney. Great course but my thumb failed me. My dream of the cow is fading fast. up mup kupen nup

up mup kupen nup book me in for bottom spot if you will. My body's natural defence systems won't let me fully recall the true enormity of my poor performance but it was several over at the halfway stage. If my life had depended on it I could not of hit a cow's ass with a banjo.

1st Round- -10 thru 13 (with 3 10-15' putts burning the edges),then stalled out. a dumb bogey on 15 and a birdie on 18 to finish -10. 2 for 8 on putts from 10-19'.
Can't complain about the overall- but If I want promotion marks, I need to finish.

Round 2- I may have just completed the biggest choke job in Korn Ferry history. -1 for Rd 2= -11 at the cut. I went from thinking about winning this tourney (-10 after 13 holes) to playing the last 23 holes in -1 and missing the cut.
I've played this course 100 times, and the worst I've ever shot was a -4 in very windy conditions... got a fast fast on every shot on holes 1 and 2- told myself to put the controller down and come back later- but I powered through... so dumb. $%&
Round 3: -7

up mup kupen nupA bit repetitive, but another -2 for a -4 halfway through. Looks like honeybadger64 and I might have to split the rent on the cellar. Onward.
