Haven't posted in here for a long time, and will remain away after this because, whilst I don't care, away from this forum, about being challenged and attacked, inside the forum, being attacked privately and in public by admins wasn't a pleasant experience.
However, as this election is down to the wire, and covid has been probably the biggest single issue influencing voters, i think this video needs to be seen. You need a f'ing good memory and to be constantly reading stuff to keep on top of every screw up and personal faux pas Trump has comitted throughout this crisis, so it's no wonder people forget this stuff.
It shows how, every step of the way, not only did Trump not do the necessary things, despite having more knowledge than he let on, long before he let on, he actively undermined the necessary things! And then you get a lovely reminder too of what a narcissistic, lying, bufoon he is, bordering on sociopathic. Think i'm exggerating? Being a "snowflake?" Watch the pens bit and tell me that's a normal human being, never mind a president...
It's 20 minutes long, so imagine many won't bother, certainly not the Trump fans. Trump fans are good at ignoring and remaining uninformed. The bits criticising Trump's personality are obviously opinion, the bits criticising the covid response can't be denied, they are literal facts about what was done, (or more importantly NOT done!) and when.

The number of new coronavirus cases recorded in a single day in the United States topped 100,000 for the first time Wednesday, setting a record in the monthslong pandemic, NBC News data show.
According to the data, there were 104,429 new cases, breaking the single-day record of 98,583 new cases set last week.
More than 235,000 people across the United States have died from the virus this year, the most in the world.

Joe just needs to remember the democrat playbook when he lands in the white house.. When things start going south on the following:
Economy
Stock Market
Companies stop giving employee raises
Employer benefits get more expensive..
Massive Job Loses
People b%&ing about tax hikes
and when he is getting punked by our international enemies (and he will)
JUST BLAME TRUMP...
That is what democrats do... Just blame the previous administration... Even if you are President for 8 years you just blame the previous administration when things aren't going your way..
The younger American generations have fallen for the democrats.. They believe they care and want to help.. Truth be told - they are lazy and don't want to work... Democrats are just securing votes.. The democrats care less about the American people in poverty than the Republicans.. The democrats just know how to suck up for the vote..
BLM will end soon... The democrat media wont give BLM the time of day with a sitting democrat President
The virus will end soon... Coverage of the coronavirus will slowly go away.. By summer - life will be back to normal..

I know my retirement portfolio's gained like 15% this week. Biden is not going to bring in any kind of Green New Deal, far-left agenda. The changes will be marginal. Hopefully he will be able to make normal folks lives somewhat better and allow us to recover a bit from the last four years. Just enough to lube you up a bit for AOC in 2024  |

It makes me laugh when Biden is referred to as a "socialist" by Republicans. You make not like him or his policies, but please!
Also, it isn't possible to have a "non political" Covid thread. It's a political issue, like taxation or health or any other area of policy.
Politics is how we order and organise society.
Perhaps I'll start a "non-aviation Boeing 747" thread?
