Well here's an unexpected twist after the conversation I had with the nurse last night. She gets to come home this afternoon. They are sure she is no longer contagious they said. No idea how they are "sure" but ok. We're both gonna ride or die on that lol.

Jimmy what amazing news my man. So happy for you buddy, you deserve greatness. You are a class act. Even though we disagree here in the "war room" we can leave that on the table and be friends through and through. This is why your optimism and fighting mentality is so beneficial.
I will continue to pray for you and your wife and please keep us updated on yours's and her's health.

Still some supplemental oxygen but we hope for only a week or so. We’ll see. But we win another small battle in the war. #GoUs Reasonable people should be able to disagree without compromising friendships or being insulting. Like that Biden-McCain or Scalia-RBG. Most of us are like that in here. We can bounce opinions and disagree if we wish. When I bash leadership for their mistakes, it is them I am bashing not the people here who may support the moron. Some people seem to think that bashing Trump is bashing them. It is not, unless you are a Trump. Lol. I’m guessing there aren’t any Trumps in here, cheating isn’t allowed lol. There are too many other good things in life to be shared among us to let a single part of life drive one’s entire meaning of it. Like golf and fast master swings. Lol. Love ya bro.

LONDON — Volunteers in the United Kingdom look set to be intentionally infected with Covid-19 as part of an experimental trial that could change scientists' understanding of the virus.
The U.K. government announced Tuesday that it is investing 33.6 million pounds (about $43.5 million) in the first stage of what are known as "challenge trials."
These groundbreaking but contentious studies involve injecting volunteers with a potential vaccine before being given a dose of Covid-19.
First, scientists need to artificially manufacture the virus and work out the smallest dose that will infect volunteers, all healthy adults ages 18 to 30.

A 'dark winter' ahead, or 'rounding the turn'?
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The U.S. coronavirus caseload has reached record heights with more than 83,000 infections reported in a single day, the latest ominous sign of the disease’s grip on the nation, as states from Connecticut to the Rocky Mountain West reel under the surge.
The U.S. death toll, meanwhile, has grown to 223,995, according to the COVID-19 Dashboard published by Johns Hopkins University. The total U.S. caseload reported on the site Friday was 83,757, topping the 77,362 cases reported on July 16.

What ever happened to the 14 day quarantine rule?
After days of tense wondering (and probably some nail biting), the Las Vegas Raiders will play on Sunday with a mostly-intact offensive line.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport reported on Sunday morning that the four Raiders offensive lineman who were in high-risk COVID-19 protocol — Rodney Hudson , Gabe Jackson , Denzelle Good , and Kolton Miller — were given the all-clear and will take the field on Sunday when the Raiders play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Hudson, Jackson, Good, and Miller had been in high-risk protocol since Wednesday when their fellow offensive lineman Trent Brown was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Brown either tested positive for COVID-19 or was exposed to it, and contact tracing revealed that he had been in close contact with his four teammates. They were all sent home and barred from team facilities, and needed multiple negative tests to be able to play on Sunday.
All four were activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday after several days of negative tests. However, they still needed their Saturday tests to come back negative to get the all-clear to play on Sunday. Those results reportedly came back on Sunday morning, and so Hudson, Jackson, Good, and Miller will all take the field against the Bucs.

I think the White House has decided that they will just go out and try to covertly attempt a herd immunity effort regardless of how many people die.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Deaths per day from the coronavirus in the U.S. are on the rise again, just as health experts had feared, and cases are climbing in practically every state, despite assurances from President Donald Trump over the weekend that “we're rounding the turn, we're doing great.”
With Election Day just over a week away, average deaths per day across the country are up 10% over the past two weeks, from 721 to nearly 794 as of Sunday, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Newly confirmed infections per day are rising in 47 states, and deaths are up in 34.
Health experts had warned that it was only a matter of time before deaths turned upward, given the record-breaking surge in cases engulfing the country. Deaths are a lagging indicator — that is, it generally takes a few weeks for people to sicken and die from the coronavirus.

Covid-19 infections are spreading across the United States at the fastest rate since the start of the pandemic, the latest NBC News figures showed Tuesday. The 71,000 new cases per day that the U.S. averaged over the past week was the most in any seven-day stretch since the crisis started and stood in stark contrast to President Donald Trump’s repeated claims that “we are rounding the turn” on the pandemic. And no part of the country has gone untouched by this latest surge in new coronavirus cases.
