A fly may have been on Kamala's head but how would you notice... I have a 60" HD TV, I'd notice a fly the size of a Boeing 747 on anyone's head. Btw, Obama killing that fly during an interview years ago was a great memory to bring back. He was on that sucka like it was bin Laden. But back on topic..... We're still pushing 40,000 infections a day and ticking up as colder weather sets in upon the north. Having had both my kids and my wife test positive and feeling lucky they did not spiral into a ventilator situation (although my son's room mate is now confined to oxygen and a wheelchair for the rest of his life due to covid), I have to ask that everyone follow the guidelines and keep yourself, your family, your friends and your neighbors safe. Do your part. It isn't difficult. Making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is harder than putting a mask on and using sanitizer.

Jimmy buddy how are your wife and kids doing with Covid? Are they symptom free at this point and recovered? Praying for you always man Wife is back in the hospital after having some breathing issues this afternoon. She is definitely symptomatic with pneumonia. They are getting her oxygen level back up as well. I wish they would keep her there instead of this in and out, back in and out again sht. I mean, if she has pneumonia and has tested positive for covid, fckng keep her there and help her get better. I told her to ask for a Trump Cocktail. Not surprisingly they don’t have any. My daughter is back to work but still cannot smell or taste. She says everything tastes like water. She works at the hospital my wife is at but her next shift is tomorrow morning. My son is closest back to normal but complains his nose feels weird. It has never returned to normal. Like something is always stuck inside. I had two covid tests, both were negative. Thanks for asking bro, appreciate you man. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Your family also sounds optimistic and tough like yourself which honestly remedies the situation and weather's the storm far better than sorrow and pessimism. Sorry for all the questions but how long have they each exhibited symptoms

Researchers at the University of Oxford in the U.K. have concluded that hydroxychloroquine does nothing to prevent COVID-19-related deaths.
The research is a continuation of a major clinical trial that found that the drug — which has previously been touted by President Donald Trump and White House trade adviser Peter Navarro — had no clinical benefit.
The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, examined the outcomes of 1,561 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 who received hydroxychloroquine and compared them to 3,155 patients who served as a control group.
Within a month, about a quarter of the patients in each group had died.
There was also a slightly higher number of heart-related deaths in the hydroxychloroquine group; however, that finding was not robust enough to be statistically significant — meaning it could have been due to chance.
"The scientific evidence is clear," said Dr. Caleb Alexander, a professor of epidemiology and medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. "There is no convincing evidence of its effectiveness for treating COVID."
Hydroxychloroquine, which has been around for decades, is used to treat malaria and certain autoimmune conditions, including lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.

Sorry for all the questions but how long have they each exhibited symptoms Not sure about the exact days for the kids. My wife first went to ER on 9/30 for the upper back pain. They gave her painkillers and let her go. There was no covid test on that visit. But this is when and where we thing she got it only because I did not get it. They don't let me in any hospital unless i need to be treated for something so I never went in. The pain was not subsiding, she couldn't even lie down she had to sleep in the recliner. That also probably kept me from getting it from her because I wasn't breathing her air in the bed overnight. She went back to ER on 10/2 and that's when she tested positive and CAT scan showed some stuff in her right lung which is what turned into pneumonia she has now. But they released her to that isolation house the next day instead of keeping her there and treating it. I don't understand why they did that. Now she's back and in a battle with it. She texted me this morning and said they are probably going to start giving her remdesivir. She is still having a rough time breathing and is continuing the supplemental oxygen. She's really not doing that great today and I'm more concerned than I was yesterday. It's been a rough road for her mentally. Besides all the other crap we've had to deal with, her mom passed away in June, found out my diagnosis in July and now this. But we'll get through it. She's from NYC and is a fighter too. Neither of us go down without a fight. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Got a text from my wife a little while ago.
“I'm starting a cocktail tomorrow remdesovor and convalescent plasma. She needs my labs in the am to start them. But I already agreed to both. Plasma with antibodies in it. I may give when I'm done.”
Give meaning donate her antibody plasma back to the pool to help others.

At least one person who attended Donald Trump’s rally in Minnesota last month is in an intensive care unit after contracting the novel coronavirus, as officials warned the president against holding more in-person events he was planning despite himself contracting Covid-19.
Minnesota health officials said nine people who attended the rally have since contracted the disease responsible for more than 210,000 deaths in the United States this year. They could not definitively pinpoint the in-person event as the site where the nine people became infected.
A Minnesota Health Department spokesperson said officials were able to confirm “only that they attended the rally during the time when they were likely to have been exposed to the virus that made them ill (i.e. 14 days prior to illness onset)” in an email to Politico.
Another person also remained hospitalized whose Covid-19 infection was associated with the rally, according to MPRNews. Meanwhile, the infection rate was surging in Minnesota following the president’s rally and large gatherings in the area in part fueled by Labor Day weekend and college meetups, the local news outlet reported.

This is why we cannot get out of the woods and live in a safer environment until there is a vaccine. Too many people act like this and it’s a big reason why there is now spiking as more activities are moved indoors due to colder weather:
“Outside the Barrett hearing, Mark Meadows stopped before the camera and was asked by @kristin__wilson to put his mask on while answering. He said he was happy to talk, but not while wearing a mask. “I’m not going to talk through a mask.” And then he left.”
Exactly how super spreaders are born.

Covid update on my wife. Last night she had a breathing episode and they had to jack up the oxygen.
I’ll share some of the texts I got from her when she told me what had happened and after i asked her if they knew why it happened, “Nope I just lost my breath and couldn’t get it back. I said please please don’t let me die. Almost in tears. Don’t let me die. Help me please”
I can’t begin to tell you guys how emotional it was to read that from her. I was in tears man and feeling that I was completely helpless. I couldn’t even be there for her.
As of right now, she is doing fine. . I also talked to her nurse and she said she was doing good too.
She continues the remdesivir and steroid regiment today. They are also going to start giving her a trial drug called otilimab. It’s originally for inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis but they have some evidence it can help with inflammation in the lungs as well. She signed off on it and start using it this afternoon.
This virus is f-ng crazy how differently it attack’s different people. It is no joke. Not a hoax. Not a flu.
Wear your masks and follow the guidelines people. Don’t let your guard down. It only takes one whiff of covid floating through the air and into your lungs to possibly f your sht up big time. You have no idea how you will be affected until you get it.
Don’t play Russian roulette with it, just follow the guidelines no matter how tiresome it gets.
