Never thought Cowboys...never.
Me neither, lol.
But it makes perfect sense. But Dalton lives in Texas. He gets $3 million to stand around and stay near home.
Now we just have Cam to wonder about, and thats not gonna happen until teams can do a physical on him.
My guess would be Jax, if anywhere. Cam's only gonna go where he can have a chance to start, don't think he is ready to accept being a mentor backup yet.

Agree that Cam is a starter or nothing guy right now. Otherwise those crazy fancy duds he wears lose their appeal

NFL SCHEDULE IS OUT!!!
I love schedule release day, and looking at the games next season, salivating over them and planning to watch each one!
For the first time, I'm kinda meh about opening day. I'm just not that big of a Houston fan, and now, without Hopkins, KC is going to walk all over them. Well, at least will get to see Mahomie and eat cheese fries and buffalo wings.
SNF, ugh, Cowboys again. I'm surprised they didn't stick the Tom Brady Buccaneers in there.
I'm most excited about the MNF doubleheader. Drew Lock and his new weapons vs. Tenn and Daniel Jones vs. the Steelers hopefully with Ben back ought to be two fun games.
Then the Thursday game after that, Burrow vs. Mayfield, that one will be fun too!
Thanksgiving games look good. Well, except for the first one, but I never really pay attention to it, because thats when we are eating and napping.
Week 16, Carolina vs. Redskins, oooooo, that ought to be a good one to watch!
Lots of great games on tap! At least at the moment, when everyone is still 0-0!

The list of the 10 most anticipated games of the 2020 NFL regular season could have been one of two obvious answers. It could have been a list of 10 Tampa Bay Buccaneers games. The networks felt that way, considering the Buccaneers will have five prime-time games in a seven-week stretch. Or a 256-way tie for first place because we’re all desperate for any games to return to our lives. The Buccaneers will be the must-watch team of the 2020 NFL season, if there is a season. Tom Brady signed with the Bucs and convinced Rob Gronkowski to come out of retirement and join him. It’s a team with a ton of offensive weapons, and the curiosity of how a 43-year-old Brady plays in his second NFL home. Not sure how I feel about this...I loved the Pats w/Brady and Gronk but is this just hype or?

The version of Brady/Gronk that most people know definitely makes that team a contender. But is that version still there for a year or two? Or are they going to be out there with their canes and walkers?
What will be interesting (to me at least) will be to see how Carolina fairs against them, with Rhule's new look. And with Brady in Tampa now, we get to see something great, in the twilight of both their awesome careers, we get to see Brady vs. Brees, TWICE! On week 9 we get that as a SNF game. I think Brees was often looked over in all the Brady vs. Manning battles.
Will also be really interesting to see if Belichik is going to Tank for Trevor, or win. A lot of people think he is tanking because he hasn't replaced Brady with someone they know about. I personally think Belichik does not know the word tank, and thinks he can win with Stidham.

NFL schedule released yesterday. Admittedly have only looked at my Vikings' schedule. I jokingly told my step dad after it came out, "Hey, just think when the season expands to 17 games we might be able to play at Seattle TWICE!"

Not to be that guy, but are you aware of the scheduling metrics? The NFL isn't having them play in Seattle to get screwed

I am intrigued by many games this year. Lots of free agency movement and many games on the week 17 slate could be for division titles. Tennessee at Houston, Seattle at San Fran, New Orleans at Carolina (look out for the Panthers this year, they now have Bridgewater and there defense has been immensely bolstered in the draft. Chargers at Chiefs week 17 will be a great game too, although I see the Chiefs winning the division at 13-3, I feel the Chargers are in for bounce back season and go 11-5. Injuries killed them this year and I think Herbert will step into the QB role very well. Don't forget they lost Derwin James before the season started last year and only had him for the final few games of the season.

One of the cool things about the expanded playoff rules going in immediately, is that it makes week 17 games more relevant.
We all know that when it comes down to it, week 17 is the most boring of the regular season, because only a few teams actually are playing 100%
With only one team getting a bye now, and more teams getting in, I'm hoping we have more than a few games in week 17 that mean something.
