Cheers for putting these out there, whilst I’ve done quite a few LiDAR courses and effectively just resmoothed and played them, I’ve been keen to learn more skills related to pixel earth shifting with the tools. I’ve found your videos to be super helpful so I appreciate you taking the time

Ben,
Before you close your current series, could you do one last tutorial on planting? Minimalistic vs heavy, when to use each, how to use planting to tie holes together, and how to keep a cohesive look throughout your course. I'm asking for a friend.

I can try to do a separate video on that, for sure. It'll come up a bit in the next series, though that'll be pretty sandbelt-heavy. If not, can definitely do a stand-alone video. Just doesn't fit perfectly with a series on hole designs! |

Not yet stubby3596, but we're discussing a joint tutorial currently - accents for all tastes! I'm single-handedly trying to revive the Joy of Planting by mattf27 . If you haven't yet, watch the whole series (they're great) and also worth looking at reebdoog 's Course Design Guru stuff on YouTube. Both were integral to my early development in the designer. The below is the episode I'm referencing. |
