Thought I'd start saving these up to YouTube and have a little placeholder thread for them. If you're interested in anything, happy to do some more work on these - they're kinda aimed at intermediate level, and lots of talking through thought processes. Let me know if a) it's useful and b) if there's anything else you'd like to see tutorials on:
Green sculpting:
Bunkers
Fairways/Hole Strategy
Routing
Routing to maximise one major feature
Sculpting (big moves)
Cliffs and Ravines
Options in hole design - dos and don'ts

Retaining walls, waterfalls, and a full unedited tutorial on putting heavy rough brushes around a par 5 Very cool you're doing this Ben. What I actually think would be very cool is fairway sculpting because I'm not good at it and you are.

Can you do one where you just lay out 18 holes with the measuring tool and delete just 1 fairway 😜

Just watched the green tutorial Ben and learnt a lot, particularly marking where you want the run offs and then sculpting the green to suit. Very natural presentation style too.
I echo Breads request for a fairway sculpting tutorial, maybe take a fresh patch of land and turn it into your sculpted fairway? The cherry on the top would be including your signature fairway bunker!

lessthanbread RiotousI'll pop on YouTube soon, but tutorial number three is done. Again, far more conceptual than producing anything brilliant, but gives you some ideas

“About 95 yards is good for a standard green” and BOOM your green is 94, ha ha

Flatten the green, mark out your slopes, fuzzy blue brush for gentle slopes, shaped red brush for a tier and hey presto a fun but fair green. Using your tips Ben, thanks

I use red brush very sparingly but mainly if I need to get bunkers right

Sorry, my bad.....
Not the red brush - the land raise brush
One of the many many reasons I’ll never be doing tutorials!
