Who is left to Judge that is "experienced" enough to do it? (By experienced i mean has enough knowledge of the designer rubric (Drink) to have a proper go)
Me - happy to put my name out there and say I'm judging this one and very much looking forward to it. Also, I think mayday_golf83 occasionally makes some decent courses. Feel free to forward hate mail our way later. There'll be some other guys as well, so I wouldn't worry about the panel for this one. Honestly, it's great to see so many new guys put their name forward. I loved being part of the CC last year and using it as a way to get into contests and I'm sure many of you guys will do exactly the same. With 5 months to come up with your courses, I know we'll get some great work and as others have said, the community will really benefit. Will everyone agree with our decisions when they come down? Probably not, but I think we've got enough design experience to give some good, well-intentioned and meaningful feedback. Just make the best course you can make, bring the banter and let's see this contest fly! Yes, thank you Ben. He’s involved, along with our judging coordinator toddfather, myself and we’ll have a couple of others. This will not be the largest judging panel ever assembled, but rest assured we (Curtis/me) will have the utmost confidence in how they assess a course, otherwise we wouldn’t have them on the panel. |

Can I just make it clear I wasn’t having a go at the judges. Merely pointing out that judging 50 courses must be hard when the ranks are thinner than normal. No disrespect it’s purely a numbers thing.

I say we all just win or at least the community does with hopefully 50 top quality courses Well 49 top quality courses and one from Davidius74... lol At least I won't use up 90 o/O of my object meter with retaining walls |

I know Andre mentioned somewhere he hasn't judged for a while and should give back so he might be there too if he has time. I can't see him on the quick look through the list.

Nearly two weeks in with 40 participants and highlights include Mickey Mouse ears, a Macdonald sighting, Huggies baby wipes for Dylan, Spiderman Valentines Day cards (scratch and sniff of course), and a jail cell. Keep up the good work guys!  ...and now we have a space station. Word has it, you can add cannons to the list. |

Oscar C@spartan4knight VctryLnSprts Koop I am not removing anybody. Few reasons: 1) Since there’s no ramifications for DNF’ing and no one on a waiting to get in. Withdrawing is mostly inconsequential. 2) I say mostly inconsequential because if I were to remove someone and, say a month from now, that person had a change of heart, they would have to break ground on a new course and anything they had worked on prior to re-entering the contest would be ineligible to be used. 3) I understand that emotions are a little elevated following a contest reveal. I recommend everyone who says they are out to give it a few days/weeks. If you’re still not feeling it, that’s your prerogative. Again, no penalty for WD’ing, but I’d prefer you think it thru before officially deciding one way or another.
