Nearly two weeks in with 40 participants and highlights include Mickey Mouse ears, a Macdonald sighting, Huggies baby wipes for Dylan, Spiderman Valentines Day cards (scratch and sniff of course), and a jail cell. Keep up the good work guys! ...and now we have a space station.

Have we ever had a contest with 50+ contestants? Whoa! By my count only 20 pc designers right now too, which means more than half are on console. Is that the norm?

Considering how long it takes console guys to plant they have time now instead of the normal contest time

Have we ever had a contest with 50+ contestants? Whoa! IM not trying to diss the contest but how is it possible that this can be judged effectively?
Who is left to Judge that is "experienced" enough to do it? (By experienced i mean has enough knowledge of the designer rubric (Drink) to have a proper go)
Yes this is a hot topic but the point im making is its a double whammy - 50 participants and less available judges - i just cant see how this doesnt end in chaos.

Not trying to be a jerk to you Oscar, this statement has nothing to do with you directly, I'm just answering your question... I don't give a rat's hind-end how the judging goes. LOL

LOL Not offended at all. I shouldn’t have quoted you it was more a general question that’s was rattling around in my head.

Me - happy to put my name out there and say I'm judging this one and very much looking forward to it. Also, I think mayday_golf83 occasionally makes some decent courses. Feel free to forward hate mail our way later. There'll be some other guys as well, so I wouldn't worry about the panel for this one. Honestly, it's great to see so many new guys put their name forward. I loved being part of the CC last year and using it as a way to get into contests and I'm sure many of you guys will do exactly the same. With 5 months to come up with your courses, I know we'll get some great work and as others have said, the community will really benefit. Will everyone agree with our decisions when they come down? Probably not, but I think we've got enough design experience to give some good, well-intentioned and meaningful feedback. Just make the best course you can make, bring the banter and let's see this contest fly!
