Thanks for the answers but i still find this most puzzling guys. All these courses have grandstands and camera towers all over the place and they just sit there with no purpose? What's the use then? For show? For beauty? I mean, like i wrote, when playing PGA in-game there are always crowds. When i 'favorite' such a course and play the same course later on solo or in MP the crowds disappear... It's the exact same course but no crowds etc. I think that what you wrote about defining a tournament must be the answer. Please look into this for future play. Thanks!

So defining society tournaments as 'championship' or 'final' or 'major' when setting it up will show the crowds then?

You can create your own society, it is easy to do, then you can play by yourself and see crowds. If I want to see a crowd I play career mode with a 1 round tourney as the season and then choose my course and I see the crowd. For example, I have a course named, The Big Valley 2019, If I want to play it and see the crowds, I use the workaround above to play the course by myself and see the crowd. HBStudios made a big mistake by not adding a toggle switch or checkbox for showing crowds for all types of play.

Good to know it's a game developer thing and not a course designer's choice. I thought so much already. Unbelievable goof by HB to forget that option. Especially because this game has been around for years and it's the third version of it. But i do hope our Goaties admin will check the right box for coming venues because now we know its a admin thing.

I agree Charles, the game is a lot more atmospheric with the crowds lining the fairways, hope the admins can work this out...

Good morning goats!
I have edited next week's event at The Denali Club and designated it as a 'Championship'. Hopefully this will produce a course full of spectators but, if not, I will try something else the week after!

Crowds will only appear in society play or career mode, but the person who created the course had to have placed them there before he published the course. TGCT doesn't seem to like crowds as they can cause lag on some weaker pc's or consoles, which can effect your swing.

Hi Goats starting from Monday we will be adding a World scratch tour to run along side the World Handicap tour. All we need you to do is take a printscreen / screenshot of the scorecard for each round before you close down the game, then post it here in these forums. There will be the same prize distribution as the handicap tour. If anyone is not sure how to post pictures here please ask.
Cheers guys enjoy.

4. Golden Hoof Challenge
I imagine most of our goats will be only too pleased to be leaving the brutal Los Angeles Country Club and flying up to Alaska for our next event. Our host venue this week is The Denali Club, just 20 minutes from Fairbanks. It boasts a one of a kind golf course which should provide a less stressful experience, and is located in the heart of Gold Rush country. The course is a par 72, 6998 yard championship golf course featuring some stunning views and, according to the designer, will be a stern test of golf. Hope you enjoy your rounds!!
The updated World Tour table will be published here tomorrow morning, and it looks like we have our third winner in as many weeks - fully vindicating the handicap system I think...

Fairly pleased with the round bar a back to back brain fart, but the handicap is soooo tough.

Here are the full results for last week's Capra Hircus Open held at the Los Angeles Country Club. Apparently the local police are rumoured to be holding an investigation into the carnage that ensued there, and especially the damaged greens and rough areas. They have appealed for witnesses and anyone who noticed a herd of old goats in the area are urged to contact them immediately - so I hope we all managed to get on the flight to Alaska!!
So it's a big WELL DONE to CHARLES for grabbing his first Old Goats World Tour tournament victory!!
Good luck to everyone this week at The Denali Club - and please behave yourselves, we don't want any bother with the local law enforcement agencies...
