Event 5 - The Horny Invitational
Our fifth tourney... and our fifth different winner!! Well done to BOBFLETCH (oh that's me hehe) for claiming the victory! Special mention goes to Skunky in second place, four strokes back, giving him his first podium (top 3) position! Samterrence holds on to top spot in the money list, while Bob's win elevates him to third place. Well done to everyone who played and completed the event on what I think you'll agree was a beautiful course!! I hope Cabot Cliffs has prepared itself for an invasion of Old Goats... good luck in the coming week!!

Week 2 of the World Scratch Tour has ended and for the 2nd week bob5453 claims victory with a final score of 274 ( -14 ) on a challenging Whistler course well played bob.Runner up for the 2nd week running also was simchars1968 again by just one shot with a final score of 275 (-13 ) so close Simon well played. 3rd place goes to itsthetodman again very close to bob and Simon with a score of 276 (-12 ) well done. The Round of the week goes to LesSouter with a 61 in round 3 well played Again another great turn out from our society members the Old Goats tour moves to Cabot Cliffs next week for The Chevon Classic hope to see you all there and good luck to you. Please remember to keep posting screenshots of rounds on our new forum site thread theoldgoats.proboards.com/thread/28/week-3-chevon-classic saves us a bit of time looking them up than you. Congrats Bob on a great win. I thought Skunky was going to pull it off but you edged him out. Your first round 71 was one the best rounds of the tournament. Well done!

Handicap Event 6 RESULT - The Chevon Classic
A big well done to Massimo from Rome (fralassi2) for winning at Cabot Cliffs!! He becomes yet another first-time winner!! An honourable mention goes to debutant Fluid Druid who posted the best final round score (66) to finish two strokes clear of Art Vandelay, Charles (who carded the tournament's best round, an opening day 65) and SimChars1968 who all shared 3rd spot. So, that's six events and six different winners - will we have a 7th trophy-winner in this week's event in New York City?!!

Congratulations to FluidDruid on winning this weeks World Scratch Tour with a fine score of 249 (-39 ) well done. Runner up again for the third week in a row its SimChars1968 with a score of 253 (-35 ) well played, and in joint 3rd place we have bob5453 and A Vandelay with scores of 254 (-34 ) again well played. Some low scoring this week with several 60s however round of the week goes to FluidDruid with a 58 in rather tricky conditions in round 4, well played. Once again a great turn out from the members all 23 starting the event and 18 finishing, thanks for the support. Next week the Goats will gather in New York City bang in the middle of Central Park to play The Goat Memorial on The Olmsted - South course. Good luck to you all, see you there. FINAL STANDINGS

Congrats to Massimo for a very good win. Well played! Also welcome Fluiddruid (aka DoGgs!) to TOG tour. I enjoyed this week again with a great course, very good playing conditions and very good set up. Very fair and realistic. Looking forward to the next venue and also looking forward to packed grandstands and crowds! TOG is becoming a very good tournament indeed.

Congratulations on FluidDruid on back to back wins in The World Scratch Tour with a score of 243 (-41 ) Well played. Runner up is our two time winner bob5453 with a score of 251 (-33 ) well done. In third place we have a tie between SimChars1968 who has been runner up on the last 3 events and cajuncapgun with scores of 261 (-23 ) well played guys. Again some very low scoring this week with 61, 60s but this weeks round of the week goes to FluidDruid and A.Vandelay both shooting 57, good knocks fellas. Just a mention that shot of the week must go to Charles56 for his fine Ace on the par 4 317 yard 12th hole, excellent shot Charles, the shot will soon be in our shot Gallery. Not a bad turn out again this week 21 from our 24 members played at least one round in the event with 16 finishing. The Goats have packed their shorts (cannot wait to see Bobfletches flowery outfit btw) for the next event on tour in a warmer climate and arrived in none other than Barbados where our tour venue is the gorgeous Amaryllis Club. But dont let the shorter course fool you it could get blustery out here this week. Good luck Goats. FINAL STANDINGS.  |
