It's officially the best month of the sports calendar, and that means the NFL playoffs are about ready to commence? What are your guys' predictions for the playoff overall. Are their teams you are surprised made the playoffs this year and are their teams who you thought would make postseason play but failed to qualify? Let's start a bit of a friendly contest here with Playoff predictions, if their is a clear, cut winner I will sent the winner ten dollars either via Paypal or venmo, whatever method the winner chooses. These are teams I was surprised made the playoffs in the AFC: Titans ( I knew Henry was a formidable running back, but I did not think he would lead the league in rushing for the games he played). Everyone else was pretty obvious, I figured Buffalo had a chance with their stout defense and I thought Baltimore was going to qualify with 10 wins but certainly not with 14. NFC: Packers ( Sorry mayday_golf83 the Packers D was so poor last year that I didn't think much of an improvement was in order this season, but I was pleasantly surprised. Every other team was expected in my opinion. Teams that I thought would make the playoffs but did not. AFC: Steelers ( They probably would have made the postseason with a healthy big Ben and a healthy James Conner but sadly injuries and drama riddled their season. Mike Tomlin did a great job alternating with a 2nd and 3rd string QB and running back to finish 8-8. NFC: Bears ( I thought Trabisky would have developed more and I expected their defense led by Khalil Mack to have played better, the secondary which was so stout last year (led by ball-hawk Eddie Jackson took a step back this season and Mack had a poor year by his standards. How I see the playoff shaking out: AFC Wild card weekend: Buffalo over Houston N.E. over Tennessee NFC Wild Card weekend: N.O. over Minnesota Seattle over Philly AFC Divisional Baltimore over Buffalo K.C. over N.E. NFC Divisional S.F. over Seattle Green Bay over N.O AFC Champ: Baltimore over K.C. NFC Champ: Green Bay over S.F. Super Bowl: Baltimore defeats Green Bay 31-23

I'll play but if by odd occurrence I win, donate the $10 to TGCTours.
Wild Card Round
Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans, 4:35 p.m. ET (ESPN) - JJ Watt may be back for the Texans which should help them contain Josh Allen's scrambling. Also WR will fuller may be back. Although Buffalo's defense is pretty stout, I believe Houston is simply the better overall team.
Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots, 8:15 p.m. ET (CBS) - I never count out Belichek and Brady until they are actually out. Patriots are the pick.
Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints, 1:05 p.m. ET (FOX) - The Saints are on a mission and Minnesota hasn't been too impressive lately. I'll take the Saints.
Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles, 4:40 p.m. ET (NBC) - My Eagles, sheesh what a ride this season has been. and what an extraordinary example of "next man up" as they went on a run of winning 4 straight division games with practice squad receivers and DBs. Seattle has it's own problems but I don't think they have the heart from top to bottom to go into Philly and win this game. Fly Eagles Fly!
Divisional Round
Texans at Ravens - I'm on the L-Train.... Ravens win this one.
Patriots at Chiefs - This is where the Patriots become "actually out" imo. Andy Reid gets another crack at a Conference title but the Ravens will have something to say about that.
Saints at Packers - Saints are on a mission. As much as I like A-Rod and also how well Aaron Jones has been at RB for the Pack, the Saints won't be denied here.
Eagles at 49ers - Eagles incredible run ends here even if DeSean Jackson and Lane Johnson are back. Niners are a strong team.
Conference Championships
Chiefs at Ravens - If this was in KC I'd go with the Chiefs but...... I'll side with Baltimore here.
Saints at 49ers - This may be the greatest game of the playoffs. Again, giving the edge to the home team mostly due to their defense, not because they are home. Niners win.
Super Bowl
49ers vs Ravens - I have no real explanation why outside of.... 49ers win.

Even though Titans beat the chefs this year I was very happy to see them get the Pats.
Titans D is vulnerable attacking deep on the corners, which is something this far the Pats have had hard time doing. It's crazy how underrated Dean pees is as a DC. The defensive numbers slipped after the mid way mark only cause we lost 3 starting corners and our best cover lb for a period. If adoree gets back it allows byard much more freedom instead having to be matched up in man. I think the Pats will have a very hard time moving the ball.
Interested to see where pats line up Gilmour. Davis broke him off two years ago (not sure how relevant that may be) and if they want to line him up a brown thats going to leave alot of nice options as Tannethrill has been spreading it out.
Big concern on special teams. Been revolving door at return and kickers have been historically bad. If it comes to a kick I don't like the chances.
Anyways I got Titans at 3-1 when line immediately came out and layed down a nice chunk on it. Hopefully this isn't one of these league manipulated...errr poorly reffed gamed.
Good luck to all watching your teams. Love playoffs!

If the titans can get positive yards in the run game and keep the play calling balanced with some play action off successful run gains, they could win the game. Oddly, the same goes for the Patriots with Michel and Burkhead. Gotta watch out for N'Keal Harry at WR though. Since he's been back from pre-season injury he has been improving each week.

I like to see the Buffalo love boys! @chrashbird I say we've got a chance if Josh protects the ball, don't think we'd get by KC or Baltimore though. Would like to see Josh change up his pre snap routine though, always seems to do 2 fake huts before snapping with 2 seconds left, might catch the defense off gaurd as I dont recall him getting many offside or encroachment calls out of it. Lets hope the Pats don't get to the Superbowl so we are still the only team with 4 in a row.

He said his is better as it has the Patriot 6X champ licence plate, so I made this for him
