Ah well, was a good run. Thought Titans did a pretty good job of not giving kc any short fields, but Mahomes just played flawless. Kid is that good. Not that I think Titans would've won anyway but the reffing was a bit shady. The last pi was a joke but the game was done. It was the holding call on the 3rd and 1 earlier that was the dagger. On the replay (and theres a still frame shot out there if anyone really cares) the side judge is already pulling the flag as the ball is snapped...but whatever I've seen enough nfl to expect these things. I just read something yesterday on the holding call play. The explanation was that the side judge threw a flag for illegal formation and that the holding flag actually came from another official. The problem was that they decided to pick up the flag for illegal formation but did not announce that, they just announced the holding call so it looked as if he threw a flag for holding right away |

Heard that too, but the guy who tweeted that is a big film buff so I'm guessing he would've recognized an illegal formation. He usually gets around to breaking down the all 22 Tuesday/Wednesday so im sure he'll go over it.

I know in my heart of hearts that the Pro Bowl is as lame as they come for an "All Star" type game when compared to the other sports and I should not read into it because it's a popularity contest but XAVIER RHODES??? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Have you ever seen someone less deserving make the Pro Bowl?
Put it this way if you haven't followed him this year. Here are the PFF grades for Viking CB this season including playoffs:
Waynes: 67.0
Alexander: 65.7
Hughes: 58.7
Rhodes: 47.9
I appreciate everything he's done for the Vikings, he had a marvelous few seasons but rhodes have been wiiiiiiidddddeee open for too long now yet somehow people still voted for him enough to make him a Pro Bowler
