Dirty Ankle Mafia Backstory: I live in an area in NC called Lawndale, there is a street about a mile from where I live called Dirty Ankle Road (Yes I swear this is true) When I met Eric, we starting picking around calling each others courses Dog or Goat tracks... we decided once he got a pc, to start collaborating on courses so we came up with the "Dirty Ankle Mafia" moniker and we began putting goats in different spots around each course we build The mafia consists of Eric and I to Mayo, Reeb,Toddfather,Pithy,Treewood,Ciboch,CSUgolfer, MattF and we all chat CONSTANTLY on groupme and really enjoy each others company and just have fun with the game... Just some pals having fun, with a made up group and some goat nonsense... Thats about it  Terry LOVE THIS. If you need a "midwest nice" representative...I'm always happy to represent. (and you're damn right CiB0RG...it's probably an unhealthy amount of time, but it's better than online shopping with money I don't have) |

I want to just chime in and say that I have no plans to start micromanaging comments or arguments or feelings here.
Let it all hang out. I think that judges need to be confident enough to handle criticism just as I believe designers need to know that the opinions of a few judges are not an indictment or a crowning of their work or skill. Fight for your course. Fight for your opinion. It's all fine. However, try not to get too personal.
We are already having to do a bit of cleanup from folks not quite understanding what notes were going to be made public and I'm also going to have to do some cleanup later in showing what my directions were intended for and how some of them seem to have been either misread or entirely ignored in spots. Probably not intentionally but it has caused some concern.
All of that being said I'm not going to blow things up or anything because this format ALWAYS does this and unless the format changes it always will. Things will calm down and when the next round comes out we'll go through some things again but we also will see some excitement build. It's just the nature of the beast. For now...have at it but do so reasonably.

Lol I've seen that before but don't know what that means... Same with this Dirty Ankle Mafia or the Goats in courses running gag. Definitely need a masterclass in the inside joke department  Instead of an inside joke, it's more along the the lines of "stuff that you read about while spending way too much time on these forums".  Indeed for sure - I for one don't know the #BlamePablo backstory - if there is one - but it seems that whenever something is wrong or out of place, pablo seems to get the blame.. Why is that ?? |

Seem to remember him posting a lovely video from Taste back in the day with F you written all over the screen in a playthrough lol. I’m just waiting for someone to come out and be “brutally honest” about the surviving courses 😏 |

Instead of an inside joke, it's more along the the lines of "stuff that you read about while spending way too much time on these forums". Indeed for sure - I for one don't know the #BlamePablo backstory - if there is one - but it seems that whenever something is wrong or out of place, pablo seems to get the blame.. Why is that ?? I believe what happened is Pablo had a course on the PGA and a few complained about his very Pablo-esque greens, by name. Then, next week came around and the PGA plays a different course NOT designed by Pablo, and at least a couple people (obviously confused) still called out Pablo for their misfortunes on course. And rightfully so. #blamepablo |
