Nah, you'd actually be fine on that hole. Front pin at 254 requires a shot of 220, back pin at 294 would actually be perfect with beginner driver

Planting going well and three holes left. Also realised that every single hole is some sort of twist on a template (joegolferg will doubtless say 'of course they are'), which is great in that I can now just go to the well for the one I'm struggling with. Below are some shots of the coastal 8th (Coore/Crenshaw), the inland 16th (Valley) and 17th (Road).

Big fan of the coore/crenshaw template. Especially like how it's a costal hole so you can reasonably make that OB if you wanted and really make a miss there penal. Kind of like Trinity.

Just one hole left now - finally happy with my opening and closing holes. Clubhouse roughed out as well, so it's been a productive weekend. Still need to sort out the 9th, play with the lighting (it's a touch too low on a few holes) and potentially cloud cover, heavy rough, a few more spots of planting, playtest/sort pins and then background plant. So, yeah. Loads still left to do...

Mid iron approach to a severe back to front green with a few bunkers and a stream. Just chucked a blind drive on the front side of it 🙂. It was that or a double plateau and this flowed much better with the land. A little different, for sure, but I’ve got a par four redan as well, so why not?

Some more progress on the hard yards of planting, rebranding the course, redoing 15 and clubhouse work. Inching closer and I finally have 18 holes I'm happy with. Still need to learn to play the 18th though. And a few of the others... Have a few more pictures.

It's the holes it comes into play on subtly that I'm loving the most, particularly behind that short par four that I can't play. Still a bit of work to do after today's two hour planting session, but we have 15% of the meter left for some coastal planting and then just a few bits of touch-up work (global plants etc). Then playtesting ad infinitum.
