Joe convinced me - one more hole done last night. First par three is the shortest at 140 yards:

Really well thought out hole. You're powering through this course so far, which is a really good sign. You design your best when you're constant, i find.

Wouldn't want you slacking over there in Group E VctryLnSprts ... Little change to fairway texture has made a huge difference and you now get a nice view of 4 and 12

Support growing for this one.... maybe I should'a hung on in there? Oh! well... good luck to you!! I literally have no idea what you mean by this, so I'll hazard a guess at all the possibilities... a) why all the support? I would assume because I am very active in others' threads and have been all the way through the Rookie contest. You get out what you put in. Honestly, great that people participate, but this thread is here because I enjoy sharing my progress, no other reason. b) you could have beaten me if we both progressed? You publish Encarta and bring it; we'll work it out c) I'll take the good luck though

Bit more work done on a few holes over the last couple of nights - I've sort of neglected this thread, so a bigger update than usual. Lots of work around the peninsula area as this is where it all gets tight in the routing. There's a bit of intricacy to the routing in terms of how you hit the ocean twice in the round, with a kind of central area where a number of greens and tees meet. Hard to explain, but have a few pics 7 - mid/long par four depending on how brave you are off the tee. The green is tucked behind a dune on the right, giving you options as to how much you care about distance, angle, water, flatter fairway or bunkers. You will then see 13th green off in the background 12 - par five that runs parallel to the left hand side of 7. Hit over the bunkers for a shorter shot in and better angle or dead at the ocean. 13 - oceanic par three 14 - driveable par four. Had to redo due to a game crash. Needs a lot of help from the planting, but should work nicely once 15 is built out behind the green and the rest of the 7/12 tee area is sorted:
