To counter the two posts above about it not being a big diff, my anecdotal evidence says different; As a PC player - I was playing at Web / Lower Euro level. Very fasts from nowhere would destroy my carefully plotted rounds, it became quite frustrating. As a PS4 player - I play in the PGA at medium player level. This is 100% me

The images attached are from this weeks TST tournament. Slight humble brag leading the Xbox side ;-) But this is a great example of just how immense the difference is in competition between consoles.... or lack of competition. I agree this site is meant to connect all of the consoles to create an amazing unified community. But nothing about this is close to competition. Changes need to happen.

Above sums it up for me, we have to chose between fairness or multi platform. Pro clubs across the board would give both fairness and cross-platform. Which means either pro clubs only across the board or keep the status quo? This is the main point of the question I guess. The dilemma is more; do we go for fair cross-platform but simplified competition. Or do we keep the status quo. I can easily see both viewpoints - a total fence sitter at this point. I reckon the quo wins this one. They always win.

Very fasts from nowhere would destroy my carefully plotted rounds, it became quite frustrating. As a PS4 player - I play in the PGA at medium player level. While I prefer to play on PC, took the PS4 option because I'm shallow & unworthy... & like to play in majors. Funnily enough i tried the game on PS4 briefly and couldn't hit anything other than slow downswings. My tempo on PC when i am on is pretty damn consistent - i am sure the data would suggest not as consistent as an equivalent PS4 player - but the switch didn't work for me so i sold my PS4 copy.
I don't think we should worry too much about evening it out - people are well aware of the differences and if climbing the ladder is important to them, will switch like you did.
Lots of people at all the levels and on every platform prefer to use the Master clubs. A minority play on XB1/PC. It's a no brainer "No" for me and hope HB do better in their next incarnation.

I’d thought the idea of TgCT was to provide as close to a mirror representation of the irl tours for all players of TGC. Maybe I misunderstood in that.

But what if you can't STAND using anything besides Masters? Then you're one for the quo. I voted quo too. Just. I wouldn't leave the site if Pro clubs was enforced for the rest of this particular iteration. Everyone both sides of the debate is hoping for better next iteration.

Is the core of the problem, mate. Well centered. I have no so much to say, above what already said, cause as a PC player I have not so much to complain about, so i think they are the Xbox players that should decide if they can or can't deal with master clubs on this broken game. Someone seems to like it anyway, but someone has his experience ruined in such a way that decided to quit the game...and this is painful to realize. Personally i think that is fantastic to have a tour across different systems, is one of the things that make this tour so special, it would be a painful shame to lose it... but I wish also it would be enjoyable not just for me or the ps4 players. I really wish this. So..i can only repeat that if the price to still have a tour across three systems and fair for everyone (and if possibly this move could fight a bit the short flickers ) I would be happy to renounce to master clubs. Well..no., ok, not at all. Not happy. Definitely. But I could accept it as "the minor damage". But yes. We can't have it all. That's the truth. The b!tch truth.

[/quote] For sure there's always been more ps4 players, but I'd be willing to bet there's been a descent percentage of xb1 players drop out of competition along the way. Maybe admin might have some numbers to back it up. (By the way I'm fine with things the way they are, just saying...)

Ah. No. There's a thing to say, for me. If after all should to be clear that just a minority of the Xbox players would prefers to switch to pro clubs, while the majority prefers to embrace in any case the hard challenge to compete with master clubs (and more or less it seems the most popular point if view), then me too i would prefer to maintain the status quo. Cause I can't see some other change could ever guarantee a full crossover tour AND a fair challenge for all. Reading the other proposals, i feel that any other change should be in fact a choice between these two things. But I would be happy if someone could propose something better that can protect and guarantee these two principles.

It would be sad/disappointing if an ultra-competitive virtual golf league didn’t hold tournaments using the game’s hardest difficulty level. Problem is the game is broken. And it sucks because this franchise is soooo close to offering as perfect a simulation as possible. Between the shortswing distortion issue and the console differences, it’s not a fair fight across the board. Just kinda sad it’s reached this point.

Where are the horses..
I've got the bats...
Let the beatings continue until morale improves.
Let's say for argument sake we all play pro clubs.... there will be someone who can't get to the top of their tour and the 'systems aren't fair or equal' argument is going to start all over again... wait and see, it's coming....
So status quo... nobody is forcing anyone to stick around...

I've made the cut on the Euro Tour this week against all those PS4 players. I'm going to finish about 65th. This is a good week Obviously we all hope the next incarnation evens things back up again, nobody is pretending this is ideal. It is what it is. So we completely change the whole ethos of these tours and then find the next game works properly and have to go through the whole process of changing it back again? Not for me, I say we ride it out and hope for better in the not too distant future. If the next game is the same, well then perhaps that changes things. In the meantime just play and enjoy the little wins, and join some good societies! Why everyone on Xbox isn't in CUCC I don't know?
