Just played the worst round I have ever played in TGC for round 1, shot 71 / 64 = -9 and will miss my first cut. If I played all the time like that first round I would never play this game ever again, so frustrating. I had multiple swings that were less than 100% for no reason. Shots where the wind moved it twice what I was expecting, then on the next hole same shot, same wind so I would adjust then ball would fly straight. Had side hills lies and if I wouldn't adjust for them, my ball would move a ton. If I would adjust for them my ball would fly straight. I felt like I was literally rolling dice every time I swung. To top all that off I lipped out a ton of putts. The funny thing is the second round I didn't think I played any better it is just that the ball seemed to fly and react the way it should more consistently, I did putt much better though (shorter putts helped).
Anyway, done b%&ing. Good luck to those that made the cut!

Had to battle my way around in the last two. Started on the 2nd hole - was short flop from green for eagle - played it up on the hill, backspin, lips out and rolls 10 feet down. From there I managed to 3 putt for a bogey. 3 shot swing right off the hop. Still managed to get it back to a good 62. Continue on to 4th round. Need to put up a big number and I'm sitting on the 10th tee at 1-under. Panic sets in and the game finally comes around. Missed a tough birdie putt on 18th that would have put me at 10-under on the b9. Had to settle for 7 birds and an eagle Just missing an ace on the last par three as well. Could have been better, but it also could have been a lot worse - managed to keep near the top of the leaderboard despite struggling for a good chunk of the last 36 holes.

I made the cut and am now a PGA member. Yea! So, I start my third round with mild winds. Shouldn't have played a tournament that had slow greens before hand. lol A +1 is what that will get you. Fourth round -9 But hey, now I can get a fresh start next week and hopefully be able to make some put's. If I could just put I would be dangerous. Looking forward to playing with the best.

Made the cut using my sponsor exemption, and finished the tourney T38th. Can't complain about that! Now on to The Peurto Rico Open. Time to show that I can compete on the PGA Tour
