Finished at -34. Not too happy with it but I'll take it as the course was not easy and didn't fit my eye at all. Remind me not to player here next year lol

I shot a 67 and a 65 in some moderate winds, anywhere from 7-14mph, to sit at -12 after two rounds. Probably not good enough to make the cut.

Playing in this one under a sponsors exemption from web.com tour. Practice hasn't been the greatest.....getting to the greens is no problem....holing out for birdies is proving difficult for me.
Loving the course though. Good luck everyone. Will I make the cut to get my "big boys" tour card?

I caught a severe case of the shanks and also could not putt, carding a 70 for round 1.

Just an up and down event for me..had two low 60s rounds and on the other two I could barely get anything going. Finished up at 30. Not proud of it but hey it happens

Shot 61, 62 in my first two rounds. I was really surprised by this, because my average practice round was 67.

59, 61, 68, 57 -43
Pretty happy with the result as a whole. Really bummed about the terrible 68 in round 3. So many lip-outs in that one. Think I'd have had a shot this week if I'd put up a good score. Tough course to go really low on, so I was thrilled with the 57 to close the week. Hope it was enough for a top 10!

I'm going to be watching the cut on this 1, it was hell of a struggle out there. I'm sitting on the number I originally thought the cut might be -15. Played it out to -31, I have had better, had worse, still all in good fun.
Amazingly enough I hated this course as well when I first played it, had something to do with it being picked to host the Canadian Open, which I did not like at all, being Canadian and all. However this week after 7 weeks of birdie fest, this presented a nice welcome challenge, a challenge I did not step up to, but still welcome all the same.

Excited to be playing up here with some of the top players this week! I'm using my sponsor exemption, and I would love to make the cut and earn my card, but I feel like that's a bit of a long shot. I played four practice rounds (63-63-65-67) for a -30. Hopefully my nerves won't be too bad when I step on to the 1st tee for real!

I normally don't comment on course selections each week, but I feel like this is the perfect course for the Houston Open. The course for the Houston Open (can't remember the name off the top of my head) tries to mimic Augusta National in it's look and setup, and that is exactly what Dewdrop does, down to the routing.
Despite being a few weeks early, I'm happy it's in, though, and look forward to playing it. I have 3 practice rounds in, my lowest coming in at -9, but I know I have lower in me. The -13's already posted are a little daunting, but I think the course will play tougher overall, which I think plays to my strength.
