Will try and get the recap posted tomorrow - too late to do it now - but I was successful in winds that I had pegged at 15mph, 17mph, 8 mph, 13 mph. Finished 4-under for the Tour. E, -3, -2, +1 Wow!!! That's great shooting. Can't wait to see the footage when you post it up. How did the course play without aids. Still yet to try with no aids. You are braver than me

e16 - Royal Ballylough - Round 1Wind: gusty 15mph'ish Recap: Definitely a feel it out as you go for this round. Crosswinds on the first tee helped dial in the wind quickly - which I figured to be in the 15-17mph range. Most holes played into a cross wind which I found difficult. The trouble began on the 4th hole which was playing 491 yards into the wind. Drive found the deep rough and after a punching back out to the fairway the shot to the pin flew the green. A poor chip and 2 putts later and our first double-bogey for the tour was on the card. Got one back on the 6th hole after my drive found the light rough I managed to get it on the green and make the 20 footer which was a double breaker. One of many good putts made in the event. A great tee shot on the par-3 9th to 3 feet made for a tap in birdie. Another 12 footer for bird on the 12th helped counter the bogies on each side. Fast forward to the 16th and a double bogey put the par or bust in a world of hurt - probably didn't help that a Taylor Swift song was playing during this hole. 2 over sitting on 17 tee and things were looking bleak. Didn't look any better on the 17th green with a 12 foot down hill bender but it managed to sneak in. 18th had a tough 6 footer for bird but it slipped in the side and got me back to par for the round. Probably the best comeback after a late scare in Par or Bust history. e16 - Royal Ballylough - Round 2Wind: gusty 17mph'ish Recap: Round two started off with more of the same - a grind on the F9 to stay even before things locked in on the B9. Starting with a solid birdie putt on the 11th hole and then a superb approach from 186 on the 16th to 2 feet (take that double bogey hole from R1!) and I was at 2-under for the first time. Par/Bird finish and we had our best round at 3-under. e16 - Royal Ballylough - Round 3Wind - 8 or 9mph Recap - forgot to snap a pic of the scorecard this round - but a highlight was definitely the 5th hole (par 3) with a shot to 1-foot and what I had felt could have been an ace. Love those tap-ins in Par or Bust! Chip in bird on 11 and bird on 17 kept the score at 2-under. e16 - Royal Ballylough - Round 4
Wind - 13mph Recap - Got off to a poor start here as I couldn't dial in the wind speed. The first 3 rounds were pretty much crosswinds but this round the wind was either at my back or in my face and couldn't lock in the right speed fast enough. This cost me early with 3 bogies in the first 5 holes. It was a grind out there but by the B9 I felt I was running out of holes. Then the dreaded 16th which was playing directly into the wind. Approach shot came up short in the deep rough to the left of the green leaving a 17 yard chip that I managed to 1-bounce into the cup. Things were looking up - par 5 and short par 4 to go...let's do this! Unfortunately the approach shot wasn't close enough and I couldn't make the 14 foot putt. Made a nice putt on 18 to get it to a respectable +1 and 4-under for the tour. Proud of that! Great course that will likely show up on a tour near you soon!
