e06: Emirates International GC (Sun) (3-under, 69)Wind: erratic - 7-15mph or so I thought! Recap: Played some of my best Par or Bust golf on this course. First hole, 2nd shot was a highlight. This is one of the best desert courses I've played in a long time. Real nice holes throughout. Had a chance to break my record of 4-under, but couldn't bird the last two holes. 18 was a bit of a disaster as I didn't find the fairway off the tee. Bunker shot came up short in rough. Flop to 4 feet and somehow talked myself into missing that putt! Another realistic looking scorecard is the result. Probably the most enjoyable round of Par or Bust I've played yet - get out and try this course.

I watched your front 9 of Magnolia and spewing I missed you play Emirates. Just installed Twitch on my iphone and went to see if I could view it but I can't. Must be a "live" only viewing platform is it?? Are you able to upload vid to YouTube or is there a way and I'm missing if viewing "old Twitch footage"

Watched it thru photon on my iphone.... Nice going and solid play. Loved your comment on the 10th. The long par 5.... Plays straight into the sun and said something like send another one off into the big white abyss of the sun again. Haha. Did look abit like that. Sun does sit abit low but I feel it gives off the best texture and vivid colour of the colour the theme has. The fairways and greens look greener and the open landscape doesn't look so pale. I'll have to try and play under those settings and see how I go tomorrow. Looks like a fun and challenging way to play

This is the way the game was meant to be played. No mindless swinging to targets you zoom in on. So enjoyable to watch, please continue.

e07: Old High Hensley (1-under, 71)Wind: low, 1-6mph Recap: Really nice course to play a Par or Bust round on. I thought it played excellent. The greens were very well done - lots of undulations that were challenging but fair. Couldn't take advantage of any of the par 5's and my putter was cold the first two holes. It all didn't matter because I managed to sink an 115-yard uphill shot for eagle on the 9th. That was very rewarding - I knew it was going to be close, then the sound of the ball going in the cup (faintly since I was so far away) was just icing on the cake. The back-9 was tough and I had almost lost it after back-to-back bogies on 12 and 13 but the putter bailed me out on 14 after a nice read and good weight. Managed to escape a fairway bunker on 18 and lag a difficult putt up nice and close for a tap in and another successful Par or Bust round. This course is a must play - get on out there! Edit: Just realized my mic wasn't working - doh! Was talking through the entire round too! I'm an idiot.

Beat you on Ojibway. Shot a +1. But I will acknowledge that I had home field advantage. Gotta say, it was a lot of fun. Messed up the screenie but my ghost ball is there for all to see.
I also think that for all of my courses going forward, I will try playing this way before publishing. Gives you a good sense for which holes are a bit silly and tricked out.

e08: Explorer Ridge Golf Club (6-under, 66)Wind: fairly low, 3-7mph Recap: Explorer Ridge Golf Club is a great course with lots of elevated tee shots and elevation. I was lucky the wind was down as it allowed me to attack some pins and leave me with some short birdie opportunities. Starting off with a bogey wasn't my intention but it got me focused for the rest of the round. Got that shot back on the short par 4 5th hole. Took my time and setup a nice fade around the trees and ran through the green to leave a short chip for eagle. Didn't make it but left a tap in for bird. The score could have been a lot better as I 3 putted the Par 5 6th (par) and then read a few breaks into straight putts which resulted in pars instead of birds. The B9 was ready for the taking. 2 birds in the first 3 holes before a hiccup on the 15th brought me back a stroke. Made up for it by chipping in for eagle (9 yards) on the 16th. After birds on the 17th and 18th we came in at 31 on the back 9 - a great round for me and my lowest par or bust to date.

e09: La Vallee Glaciale (4-under, 68)wind: very low 0-5mph Recap: Another solid round of golf that included a highlight reel shot on the 13th. Lots of elevation changes here with some great views. I also really like the use of boulders throughout the course - top notch! As for the golf, I got lucky again with low winds which makes getting the ball close to the hole much easier. After a solid F9 with some nice reads on the green for birds on 4 and 5, the B9 is where it got interesting. I managed to hit a 220 yard approach into the par 5 13th up a ridge behind the hole and then back down, settling just a couple feet from the hole. I'll take those tap in eagles any day - but they are much sweeter when you do it without any aids! Solid 17 holes of golf came unravelled when I missed the fairway on the 18th hole. Instead of playing safe and putting the ball on the fairway, I tried to take the risky shot up and over the hill to the green. That shot didn't fare so well as I plugged it in a hillside bunker (that I didn't see at the time!). Blasting out of there left me a decent sized par putt that I was trying to make - so I put a little extra on it but of course, it didn't go in and the went past the hole an extra 6 feet or so. I burned the edge on that putt and walk off with a double-bogey 6. Not the best way to end the round, but at least I had built up enough of a cushion that it didn't cause me to go over par! Great courses tonight - enjoyed them both!

E10: Eighteen at Prestige Valley (4-over, 76)Wind: windy - 10-15mph it seemed Recap: This round was a battle as the wind did not make a difficult course any easier. I had trouble getting anything close enough to even give me a chance. The back nine was my undoing. I was not impressed with my two double-bogies on the first two par-5's - those are usually what I use to get strokes on the course. Not today! Didn't make very many putts either. I did almost ace the 14th as that was the only hole I really dialed in an approach shot. Always nice to have those tap-in birdies! Nice course!

e11: Taiga Trace Golf Course and Nature Preserve (1-under, 71)Wind: low, 2-7mph Recap: First off, this course is very nice. Some very rustic holes included in this track - really enjoyed my round. Speaking of my round, I got off to a good start with a bird on the 1st hole and thought I might be able to go on a run since there was little wind on the course. Those thoughts were put to a screeching halt as I bogey and double bogied the next two holes. Manged to get one back on the 4th and then played a good drive on the 6th that set up a long draw into the green. Left myself a decent eagle chance and managed to get the read and drain the putt. That's what this is all about! Eagles are so rewarding when you have to work for them! Another bird on 8 and I'm back to a respectable 2-under through nine. A bit of everything on the back nine as I birdied another par 5, had trouble with a 3-putt on 12 and then got it back with a bird on 14. Back to back bogies - mostly due to the putter - had me sweating it out on 18. Manged to get in with a par and keep the round below par. Lots of interesting holes here - have to think off the tee - extra hard when you can zoom out to your landing zone!
