I did that with Tara iti and it swapped to an image from before the course was built. Ha! Did you map Tara Iti? |

Can anyone help with this problem, I’ve just tried tracing a course out on OSM but it won’t let me label my edits as the correct things. I’ve had to label my greens, bunkers and water hazards as golf walking paths and use them as placeholders because it won’t accept putting green, bunker or water hazard when I try and tell it what the tracing is..Tees have gone in fine, if I click on change feature and then type Golf Features it only gives me options to select Golf Hole, Golf Cart Path and Golf Walking Path nothing else comes up.

If you're getting golf walking path as an option, then you must be using Line instead of Area:
Golf Walking Path is only available for Lines and Putting Green, Fairway, etc are only available as Areas.
If you want to change something from a Line to an Area, add a Tag that says "area", and then set the value to "yes":
Once you have done that you can scroll up the feature type and click on it to change it. All of the Area options will be available for you to select:

Use AREA, not LINE. You can add a tag called AREA with a value of YES and then you can properly tag your placeholder features so you don't need to redraw them. |
