Holy crap, can we have some sort of offshoot design contest for this field alone??!! For sure, that'd be a helluva throw down. Like I said, guys, the response to this competition has absolutely blown me away and we've definitely smashed a TGCT record for filling a field in a design competition. From the time the OP dropped to the time that pablo, our 24th entrant, signed up was 1 hour, 44 minutes, 18 seconds! Would definitely have loved to have gotten more in the field, but the judging for this one's a bit more complex given that we don't have head-to-head matchups and are ranking the courses in order. That will be a lot of rounds our judges will have to play and courses for them to consider to come up with a final ranking. That being said, if you didn't get into the field and still want to take part, we will be looking for judges at the end of the contest. PM me or PithyDoctorG if interested. |

just read the field was increased to 24...Thanks my friend, that puts me in the contest. Just reserve the 24th place finish for me...I hope you're kidding my friend, because if you're thinking that way already, you've already lost. This will be tough for ALL of us in this contest, just like the World Cup is proving to be, but to be perfectly honest... I LOVE IT! We are all becoming better at our craft because of the constant challenge in here, and above all, the TGC Tours and community at large is benefiting from bucket loads of great courses all year long from this contest schedule. It's true that the winner gets to host the major, which we all want (I would hope), but if we all put together top notch tournament courses, many of them will get picked up for other events on tour down the road. This is a win-win for everyone! You can do this Tom! |

I just got like 4 names down the list and saw Matt's and made the comment...
may have been a bit premature with the other names further down the list.. lol
I sure as hell can't wait to play these 
Gotta have Reeb, MattF and CSU as co-faves, for me. Maybe I'm down there at 10/1 or so 😁 I've actually never done a tournament setup with stands etc. before so that could be interesting. Sketched out some holes this morning, gonna break ground soon. Extra points to anybody who does an HB style of stands work and just puts stands randomly everywhere. |

"Rules: Designers may begin their course as soon as they register. No previous WIPs, no RCRs, no betas and no collabs, no streaming of WIPs. Teaser/WIP threads contained to Major Challenge subforum." |

I was wondering, is it too late to sign up for this contest?
I was busy eatin' cheetos and triple burgers from Wendys earlier and didnt get the cheeto dust and burger grease off in time!!!
