I won't do predictions, as that feels more "targeted," like such and such a course is obviously not good enough; I'll say my personal favourites as that seems something that shouldn't be difficult to hear. It's just saying what one person really likes. Based on the entirely subjective criteria of "best looking," and "most fun and challenging to play," and one which I feel is most important, but doesn't seem quite as important to the judges, as I haven't seen it mentioned much, "most suitable to host a US open..." Mantis Empire pines Susquehannock O say I'm sure this random internet bloke's "judgements" will be taken with great gravitas  I thought all the courses had multiple good elements, and enjoyed playing them all. |

MajorHigh should be really proud about this course. Not making the cut doesn’t mean it’s a bad course. Congrats on making a good one though!

Many nice courses in this contest...
Just hope the course that wins is one that should actually hold a U.S. Open. Would be very annoying if the winning course is one that 1/4 of the PGA Field shoots -40/-45 or better.

Many nice courses in this contest... Just hope the course that wins is one that should actually hold a U.S. Open. Would be very annoying if the winning course is one that 1/4 of the PGA Field shoots -40/-45 or better. Appropriate difficulty for a US Open is something the designers & judges have had to consider during this process, but it's only one part of the process, in addition to standard elements that are considered in a design contest in terms of aesthetics, playability and technical execution. Now there's no guarantee that a golfer couldn't go low on the eventual winner, but that score will have to be earned by the player and, if he does, hat's off to him. |

He deleted his profile shortly after the publish window closed, but after he submitted his course. Not sure what the reasoning was behind it, so I'm not going to jump to conclusions, but was unfortunate to see him go. |

I thought might be surprises shows how tough the comp is how difficult judging must been the animal would done very well in previous comps. I would not be surprised the scores are very close.
