OK I GIVE UP! Been trying to avoid scores for all events, but these threads are where all the posts go! And I wanna be involved! Bang average first round of -12 in 5-14mph winds! Pitched in for Eagle on Par 4 16th for highlight. 1 Eagle, 10 Birdies, 7 Pars I normally pick a -10 or -11 round to play against in my rounds, but I think I want to step it up and go for a -12, so you will be my opponent in round 1. Honestly, I'm not sure if I can do better than -10 on this course, and I'm not a wind waiter so a bad draw might be the end of me. Round 1 is tonight and will be up on Twitch. What time u thinking? il tune in! Good luck

Might have to take advantage of a sunny day and dig my car out of the snow before it freezes again, so maybe closer to 7 than 5.

HB needs to fix these wind issues man. I just had to play round 3 and 4 in 14-19 mph winds. I wouldnt mind it if I didnt see people posting crazy low numbers so I know theres noway they did it in these conditions. I shot 64 and had to make some great putts. Not only that these guys are eagling the par 5s in theres noway I can even get 75 yards of the green in 2 shots into a 18 mph headwind. If some1 here has resources they need to put it to good use and fix this. I understand the wind should change but my first 2 rounds were in 4-8 and then it just jumps to this crazy sh%$. I know im ranting about something thats been talked about enough. If they dont fix the issue I would recommend just turning the wind meter off that way it would somehow equal the field that has to play in these conditions. I play pretty good and in 18 mph wind with -30 land drop from 195 away your not gonna go pin seeking as You would with a 5mph wind any way.

I have had multiple rounds in the 50's in 12-16 winds so I am sure the top top players are more than capable of it too. The accusations that the top players are only at the top because they play in low wind is getting old and stale

Lol yea ok dude, did u shoot in the 50s here with that wind? I got MANY MANY course records to buddy. Im not a hack b%&ing about it. I shot back to back 64s after shooting 13 and 12 under easily so I know I have a valid point. Dudes are tough on this forum huh?

You had to play in 14-19 mph ? Yes in my last 2 rounds, only about 3-4 holes was it at my back also. You can watch my ghost balls, I was lucky to get inside of 20 feet on these greens, and there not the easiest outside of that lol.

Just saying chap. Your post said that scores similar to those atop the leaderboard are impossible in 10-18mph winds. -12 is more than doable in those winds as I myself have achieved that. So if I can get -12 in massive winds, I'm sure better players can get better.
Bottom line is accept that whilst there may be some at the top that do wind wait, there are players out there that are simply better than yourself and just because you cany achieve low low scores doesn't mean no one can.
These elite players keep getting accused of effectively wind waiting and it simply isn't true in all cases. They just are that good and that needs to be accepted by this that simply can't go as low as them

Ok so your saying that my -12 and -13 in the first two rounds doesnt really put me close to the top? I have a more than valid point im not talking about a -12 cause yea of course I can shoot that in those conditions if I play it enough. What im saying is its not fair whetheryou can or not. I just seen a guy shoot a 53 in round 3 by playtime, and I have played against his ball alot and we go back and forth on lower rounds. Yea I said 53, there was noway I could imagine a 53 in my round 3 conditions.

Please note that I've been the very first to get all 4 of my rounds in on pc in the last 4 weeks. No waiting here. All 4 rounds completed within the first 2 hours after doyley opens them up.

Please take the back and forth to PM's and settle (or not) it there. Thx! Ok sorry. I never said you wind waited Taste, hell I know your Great at this game most of us are grown here. I simply said it was unfair to those that dont get the same conditions so I was just stating my opinion of a way it could possibly be fixed. Not that it matters any but did you have any of your rounds in 14-19 mph conditions?

I was merely responding to your claim that low scores are not possible in high winds. They are. It's as simple as that! If you don't agree with that then we will agree to disagree and like Doyley indicated let's get this thread back on topic
