Well perhaps they should Edit the Q school information Currently it states You may use any clubset you wish but in order to qualify of PGA, Euro, or Web, you must use Master's Clubs. Pro or Beginner clubset users will be place in the Challenge Circuit. I am sure eventually it will be changed to reflect the new rules but for those new players unaware or who don't participate in forums it might help to know the correct rules.

Yes, that is how it is prior to the changes announced last week. I am sure it will be updated.. If it were me, I'd do it sooner rather than later so new signings are not confused..

Rules in place. FREE community. Like it. Don't like it. Stay and comply. Leave and goodbye..... ....but for the love of god PLEASE stop already!! Choose where you want to compete and try to get there. A Beginner Club tour is still a place to compete. When you get bored shooting -80 every week, there's always the other tours. CHOICE! As I stated like a hundred pages ago, no matter what clubs you CHOOSE, you still have to flick the stick back and forth, or move your mouse however the hell you move it. I'll see all my fellow F'ers on the course...FORE!! VF/P coming your way..... EDIT: I realize there are some beginner club users that are legit where they are placed, there will always be someone somewhere abusing the system. Unfortunately it's the bad apples that spoil the bunch. Well Said!
I use begineer clubs, i've tried using Pro but didnt have the same enjoyment, its not the winning for me its the competing. If they want to start a begineers tour to make it fair then thats where i'll be. If boredom sets in and i want a challenge then i'll go through Q School again and use Pro clubs.
I don't find it a punishment at all it's just making things fair and as you quite rightly say, it's a choice!
Great attitude, just what is needed! I don't know why some have to take the beginner club tour as some sort of demotion. It's a place to compete. I could understand if the announcement was they were going to ban beginner clubs altogether, but they didn't. Club restrictions in the tours makes sense, the higher you progress, should you be good enough to do so, the higher the difficulty should be. I for one surely want to get better and move up the ranks, but my play recently has me thinking I will likely just call CC-F my permanent home, and I'm ok with that. No different if I called Beginner Club a permanent place to play and have fun..

I think some beginner club users feel like they've lost the multi-tiered career progression if they continue to use beginner clubs. Imagine being the guy struggling in CC-G even with beginner clubs and having to compete with someone who shot -70 in Q-School.
I'm sure this is being monitored closely.

My guess is most of the really good players that were scoring high in hopes of getting a quick promo or trophy will probably switch to pro clubs.

I received the update email about the new system and have ticked the box in profile for Beginners Club Tour. The email says from week 4 anyone playing beginner clubs in CC-A to Z will be DQ'd. It also says that events in Beginners Club Tour will begin in Week 5. If I am reading this correctly that means no event for beginners clubs in week 4. Is that correct?

Ranger, you totally misinterpreted my comment, I was trying to highlight the problems mouse users now have after 2 previous versions of TGC.
If this game requires me to use beginners clubs thats cool, just frustrating from previous seasons is all

Ermmmm I make us playing week 3 - well at least that's what the tournaments say. Anyways I wonder if there is no week 4 for beginners next week because it's promotion event week. Obviously beginners can't promote anywhere so they have a week off?

Any beginners clubs used from CC-A to CC-Z will be removed from their respective flights.
