Are you expecting so many inactive users after 3 weeks to have a promotion event in week 4? Shouldnt be too much movement otherwise unless players are bottom 10 for 3 weeks in a row.

Shouldnt be too much movement otherwise unless players are bottom 10 for 3 weeks in a row. with 150 per pro tour out of q-school - and an average of probably 130 playing each event - that's already 20 slots each for the top 3 tours - not everyone will play every week and I want 150 to play - we definitely have some room for this first one. Left room with the knowledge the first Promotion Event would happen pretty quick. Once the first promotion event is over the movement will settle into the vibe we're going for.

Can players go right into PGA from the weekly Q-School events this season? Last season the top tour was excluded.
I also see that there are almost 200 (Q) players on the week 1 QS leadeboard already.

What are the players who already have a tour card playing in the week 1 q school for? Just to play? Or am I reading the leaderboard wrong?

They are just on the board as filler so you get the feel like you're competing. But I see the are about 200 going through Q currently, so you're competing anyway! Good luck..

Oh yea, I remember reading that would happen, thanks for answering. I am in Z already

So do you have information as to what is required in one of these promotion events to go up 1, 2, 3 tiers or has that not been fleshed out yet?

So do you have information as to what is required in one of these promotion events to go up 1, 2, 3 tiers or has that not been fleshed out yet? All depends on slots available. Format is similar to qschool... We take the top X scores based on X PGA slots available. We then resort leaderboard removing all euro players and take top X players based on euro slots available. Rinse repeat down through every tour and flight. Slots available will be initial number we have at start of tournament plus number of people leaving that tour via promotion. Clubset restrictions in place.

How will these be used to top out tours? Will it be like a mini Q-School where your score decides how much you move up, or will it be divided to all tours? What I mean is, lets say the winner scores relative to what a mid-field Euro player shoots. Will he go to Euro because that's what his play suggests, or will he go straight to PGA because he won?

There are still a lot of good golfers below the PGA - the entire Euro Tour would be good enough to compete for cuts on the PGA. The best scores will go straight to PGA.

So when I get dropped into CCZ next week there will be accelerated promotions to prevent my sandbagging?
