I assume the Beginners Club Tour will no longer accrue WGR points?

Ha, I finished 104th in CC-C and went UP 9 places to WGR85! That can't be right can it? Was also the first week that TGC2019 results ran so if people didn't make the switch from TGC2 or are inactive they were removed. That's the main reason a lot of people are jumping up large amount of places. I dropped 20 spots from 1266 to 1286 despite a decent result in CC-A. How are you all gaining spots haha

Other than bragging rights, what else does/is the WGR used for? Does it really make a difference who is where?

Why do you get demotion marks in CC-Z the system wouldn’t be set up to identify what flight you are in. Basically it would treat every player the same and apply the rule set for promotion or relegation regardless. The same applies for promo marks in the PGA. Of course I’m guessing but based on what I know about programming this is where my head is.

I think it is so it slows down promotion - you have to clear you demotion marks before you can start earning promotion marks. Basically if you get 5 demotion marks, you don't want that person to be able to promote at the same speed as someone who has none (except winning the tournament that week of course).
Same thing with PGA getting promotion marks - they should get demoted slower than someone without promotion marks.

How will it work for knowing who gets promoted into the PGA if there are no PGA players taking part as a baseline?
Wouldn't it have been easier to have anyone on Euro or Web who doesn't have a demotion mark to play the PGA event and if they would have made the cut then they get promoted, or if it's going to be 100 players then combine the PGA players with all the non PGA for a new top 70 and take those. If theres still too many then limit to how many were needed, say 20 and take those.
Guess the same could be done for CC-Pro playing on Web for that week and CC-am playing on CC-Pro?

I believe its a bit of a cycle effect... there will be so many spots open on pga (to make them have 150 active players). They will then take those who move from Euro and make them have 150 active players... and then those that move from web and make them have 150 active and so on.
How many spots in each division is tba until the pga number and who gets in determined.
Of course, I could be way off.. lol, but that was my understanding.
