Ugh.... can we just go back to TGC2 so we can play! I paid full price for a broken game in TGC19... and now it’s just taking up space on my hard drive.... why the hell did they even release this game NOTHING WORKS.... 2K should be ashamed to be affiliated with this garbage! This game right now is like a better looking.... worse playing TGC2... absolutely unacceptable. This will prolly be the last time I spend my money to support these idiots at HB. And I HATE saying that cause these guys I’m sure work hard every day... but really.... how can you in your right mind release a game this broken... why not just wait for the physical release?? Your that hungry for cash you release a broken game with some new branding.... IM soooooo mad at these sup shites it’s insane.... I fired up tiger woods 11 last night and I might not come back... pure garbage HB Stop being a whiney baby. Good grief grow up will you. Are you like 13 years old? |

When I played last night, my distances were the same (had reverted apparently), but my ball rollouts were definitely shorter, using the shorter clubs. I wasn't imagining it, it was very noticeable.
Seeing things that said you had to restart, for the server side patches to take, I'm wondering if I booted up my game in mid revert somehow, and got half of the tweaks. LOL

So was dial a distance easier or not? Might have to buy the jumbo duck instead.  |

Short irons/Wedges stopping quicker is a good thing. Pinseeking with those clubs is ok with me
It's being able to dial in any distance with any club that I have always hated.
If I decide I want to carry it 195 I shouldn't be able to do it by lofting up my 205 club. I should either accept I will hit it 192 with a stock 5 iron or deliberately take something off my 4 Iron. That actually involves some strategy and in the case of taking off some distance, even some skill.
Particularly relevant when there are hazards to avoid
That it's too easy to execute every shot in the game is a separate issue |

I'll agree that sometimes placebo effects happen, and I'm a victim of it.
But I will greatly say that last night, and my ball rollouts, were not one of them. Because I have been writing myself notes on the Q-school courses on which clubs to use, on which holes, to try to make myself better, and correctly practice these courses. ( that is ok, right? to make notes?  )
And last night, I played Pearl Mountain, specifically because I had notes on it, and the rollouts for me were incrementally shorter, as I used the shorter clubs. The 6 iron was stopping way shorter, the 9 was stopping almost instantly, and even the clubs that were 212 yds and 233 yds, weren't rolling off the back of the green, I had to change and use a different club on the par 3s. That wasn't placebo, it was happening, and I know because I had wrote it down.  |

IF we ever play I’ll see you in the course... but I’ll stay off the forums for good now... can’t even voice an opinion with out someone getting upset... TGCT is the coolest thing I’ve found in awhile... and I thought venting my frustrations on a forum of like minded people was what this was for... I thought it was locked up in jail for the rest of its life, but it was back out in the wild and now I have to hide my kids and my wife for the fear that it may return. Let's hope it stays locked up. Skol Vikings The issue is very few people agree with your frustration. TGC2 was infinitely worse the first month and comparing TGC to Tiger Woods is a pretty big and unwarranted insult. I play 2 or 3 rounds a day and see zero issues that will spoil my fun and it’s MUCH MUCH better then any Tiger Woods arcade game. Relax and enjoy life. It’s just a game and a free site. Play some of the new amazing courses for fun Im I’m WI also north of Madison |

Whilst I agree with delaying in principle, it's quite possible they will continue tweaking the physics behind the scenes even after the initial "launch".
Can't help but feel the chances of having a game that is totally stable for a 2 week period is pretty slim whenever we start  |

If we start this Sunday, and I play all of my 4 week 1 rounds under the current conditions, that I've been able to practice, then you start on Tuesday and have to play with different conditions for spin, rough, sand, launch angles etc... then how is that fair and how is it a solid base for an assessment in the differences in our skills at the game? As Jack says, they may still continue to tweak stuff behind the scenes, and we can't allow for that, but to begin before the "big server side patch" drops would make a complete mockery of Q-School and the reasons for doing it in the first place. |
